Someone let us down.
Looking over the lines today, I just can't believe that Detroit game. Det + 11 1/2? I'm on that. I just wish it were only 10 so I could hit some moneyline just incase. Now, this'll probably be the game Favre finally doesn't suck but 11 1/2 is just too many... I hope. |

I'm also on Pitt -2 1/2 and Cinci -3
Edit: Oh, and a +600 parlay of the 3 of them (Det +11 1/2, Pitt -2 1/2, Cinci -3) Last edited by That One Guy; 09-25-2010 at 08:47 PM.. |

The Reverend has been quiet this week indeed.
(that's not a dig, he's a good poster, we've all had drunken meltdowns... some more than most *points at self*) |

I like the cincy game but Pitt is on borrowed time right now. The defense is really carrying them sooner or later it's gonna slip

I reckon if Favre doesn't bounce back this week, this will be the season we watch him slide into retirement and next off-season those stories dominating ESPN all summer will be non-existent *crosses fingers*

I am not going to touch it bc I love the Broncos, but I think Indy will beat us by 10 plus points easily.

Oh, and Bodog has props that I might hit tomorrow. Cribbs O/U 32 1/2 yds receiving and rushing. Reports are they're gonna try to incorporate Cribbs more and I love that play. Also, Best has done great so far and the O/U for him is like 62 yds. Not sure on that one though as the Vikings rush D has been solid. If the prop included receiving, it'd be a different story.

EDIT: Unless Indy gets up early. Then they'll just run on us till the will dies. I'm not getting on the over but wouldn't be surprised if it hits. |

I'd stay awy from that Cincinnati game. The line has gone from -3.5 to -3 even though 88% of the bets are being place for Cincinnati, somethings not right there.

I understand the worry but do you really think Carolina has anything to stay in that game? I said before the season that I hated every aspect of Carolina and I think they've shown they are as bad as we thought they were going to be.

I think Carolina sucks and they starting a rookie at QB. Despite that somebody is laying enough money to offset 88% of Joe public and even bring the line down some. Like I said something doesn't smell right.

In seriousness, do you expect this to be a grind it out game? I expect high flying action with a more successful Indy ground game than a Denver ground game. That means Indy could try to keep it on the ground but if the Broncos get down by 2 possessions, I think this quickly turns into a catchup game. Likewise if the Broncos get up by anything good, Indy starts playing catch up. |

Ahh. Agreed. This is the kind of scenario that scares you because absolutely no justification for the line makes any sense. It seems completely beyond silly that anyone would be putting that much on Carolina here. At the same time, it feels like one of those questions on a test where you finally just say "Go with your first instinct, don't overthink it"

Just because I said I was going to, I put pennies on the Cribbs over 33 yds and Steve Smith over 65 yds props. If Carolina does struggle as much as expected, I think they'll try and get Smith to carry the team. A few quick throws (higher percentage than deep throws) to one of the quickest WRs in the league could get some easy YAC and sounds reasonable.

Anyone else clean up on that Hartford-Omaha UFL game? Thank Jeb Putzier for the late cover.

i got in on the texans at -2.5, cinci -3, and giants -3. thinking about taking saints -3 hosting the falcons.
the cinci line seems to me like last week's chiefs/browns game (chiefs covered, but it was close) went 6 for 8 yesterday! |
