Same here! Just a "feeling" in the air between how they are playing at camp, the "family" they seem to be and the tightness the Bronco players seem to feel after the tragic loss of Dwill and Damien. Not to mention there seems to be "just a little" talent in there especially with acquiring free agents Travis Henry and Dan Gratham. Not to mention, it also sounds like our rookies aren't doing too bad! It will be interesting that's for sure! Oh yeah...and Dre' Bly!

THANKS soooooo much, REB! I love them both, actually! Very tough decision. I may just end up using both and alternate between them.

Sorry to hear you're feeling down, STG....

Things are shaping up well as far as wedding preparations... I'm totally finished with her garters and gloves and the alterations to make her slip fit properly. The bridal gown and veil are nearly done (just need a tiny bit of "finishing" work), as is one of the four bridesmaids' gowns. I still have 3 more bridesmaid dresses and the flower girl's dress, but estimate that each will take no longer than 2 days.

As a side note, dark red "mirror organza" over black looks awesome, particularly in the sunlight. But there are challenges to sewing with sheer fabrics, particularly those that have a tendency to fray. And "mirror organza" isn't a fabric that feels nice next to the skin; it's rather scratchy, which means the seams have to be "finished' so there are no rough edges.

Today...finally! Preseason or not, it's BRONCOS time!! I'm so excited...I can't wait until 5pm! Quitting time has a whole new meaning today!

Thought for the day!

Quote:
The goodness deep within

Be honest with yourself. And you will see the wonder that is all around you. Drop any pretense of cynicism. And allow your spirit to marvel at the exquisite, graceful beauty in even the smallest of things.

Much of what you long for is already well within your reach. Let go of the doubts, fears, and assumptions that keep you locked out of life's best possibilities.

Look at the world with eyes full of wonder, gratitude, hope and purpose. What you truly desire is exactly the same as what you are destined to accept and create.

Become comfortable and familiar with the goodness that is deep within you. It resonates perfectly with the intractable goodness that holds the world together.

Though there may be constant turmoil on the surface of life, all is well deep within. Connect with the goodness that is inside you, and you'll discover the positive possibilities all around.
It's quite ironic at how today's thought talks about marveling at "the gracefull beauty of even the smallest of things". I was watching the Discovery channel last night and the show I was watching was all about this particular jelly fish off the coast of Australia. This species is very tiny, about the size of your pinky fingernail and is difficult to see in the water. They not only have stingers on their tenticles, but also on their body. Just one small stinger and you are in excruciating pain for weeks. There is no antidote and Morphine barely touches the pain. Anyway, this creature is so incredibly beautiful and graceful, but when touched, it's so harmful. Just struck me as interesting.

Good Bronco day to you all! 7 months with no Bronco games has me stoked for even a preseason game. Win or lose doesn't matter tonight. OK, well it does a little We just look the team over, especially the newbies and get a feel for them. God knows I love it!
