Default Stock Watch 2010 Week 2

http://espn.go.com/blog/nflnation/ta...ch-2010-week-2

FALLING
2. Knowshon Moreno, Denver, running back: Moreno had 51 yards on 24 carries in Denver’s win over Seattle. The No. 12 overall pick in the 2009 draft has to get better. He is coming off an injury and Denver’s offensive line is battered. But still, Moreno, who did have a nice run on a 45-yard catch, won't be trusted as a rusher long if he duplicates this effort a few more times.

RISING

3. Demaryius Thomas, Denver, receiver: Denver’s top draft pick made an instant impact in his NFL debut. Thomas had eight catches for 97 yards and a touchdown in Denver’s win over Seattle. Thomas showed flashes of dominance in training camp, but he was dealing with a foot injury. In his first NFL game, the No. 22 overall pick showed his great potential.

Just to

RISING

1. Jay Cutler, Chicago Bears quarterback: He maintained composure against the Cowboys' frenetic blitzing defense and essentially played a mistake-free game in the Bears' 27-20 victory. Mixed in were two beautifully thrown passes to receiver Johnny Knox (59 yards) and receiver Devin Hester (9 yards for a touchdown) that only a handful of quarterbacks could make. Through two games, Cutler is the NFL's highest-rated quarterback (121.2) and is on a personal hot streak that has seen him throw 13 touchdown passes against two interceptions over his past four games, dating back to last season.

I personally haven't thought Knowshon looked that bad , and I didn't like that we drafted a hb that high ...

118 overall yards against the Seahawks. & a TD.

64 in the 1st game back when he was still unfit. & a TD

182 overall over 2 games, 2 TDs. That's mean he'd get 1,456 overall yds over 16 games, and 16 TDs if it all averaged out. And he was unfit in his first game.

Cutler has looked good, I hate the guy after what he said about Broncos fans and his attitude, but he is doing well with Martz. Can see he and Orton in the top 5 QBs at seasons end.

This one stings a little more as I was hoping for a Dolphin collapse this year to have a high #2.

Rising

Mike Nolan, Dolphins defensive coordinator: The Dolphins have scored only two offensive touchdowns, but they are 2-0 because Nolan's defense has been that good. Adrian Peterson gashed them for much of Sunday's game in the Metrodome, but the Dolphins came up with a great goal-line stand. Vikings quarterback Brett Favre committed four turnovers: two interceptions to Jason Allen, another to Vontae Davis and a fumble Koa Misi recovered for a big touchdown (see below).
