"Mike Williams is a big, powerful receiver, We've just got to keep changing up our looks with them. We're seeing some explosive plays out of him."– Don Martindale

"I don't know the difference of why or whatever. This is the team we have right now and we think it's the best way to go about it with our team this year, We've got aversatile group of wide receivers that can do a lot of different things, and so far when they've been given a chance to make a play downfield, they've done a good job of making it."- Kyle Orton

"We'll see on Kuper, he's kind of a Sunday decision here for us, If it's not Chris, then it's Russ and here we go again."–Josh McDaniels

"It's such a mirror image, Those three guys that I had then — Darrent, Domonique Foxworth, Karl Paymah — and these guys I have now, it's like the same guys. Perrish happens to be from Oklahoma State, and he and Darrent remind me so much of each other. Very confident, very skillful. These guys that come in, just like the group we've got this year, they're like my little brothers," Bailey said. "I've got to make sure they're OK. Part of me wishes I could have done more to help prevent that night. But there's nothing I can do to change the past."-Champ Bailey

it's starting to feel like autumn here in Colorado. yesterday afternoon, i was out watering some of my trees (for those out of state, we're having a dry spell here on the front range) and as the sun was going down, there was a slightly chilly breeze blowing as the aspen leaves were starting to fall... reminded me of football weather. the kind of weather that makes you glad to be alive and glad to be in Colorado.

today's tailgate and game will probably be some of the best weather of the season... mid-80's with a 7-8 mph breeze. enjoy the tailgate everyone.

How I wish I lived in Denver.

Instead I'm stuck listening to Jets fans either justifying the loss last Monday, or abandoning the team and running for the hills.

Anyone got a job for a recent college grad out in Colorado? Haha

i'm a couple thousand feet higher in elevation than Denver, so my highs will be 10-15 degrees lower here. come 4PM or 5PM, it will feel like autumn here as the sun goes down and it gets a bit chilly.

next week at home against Indiacrapolis should be similar weather, but after that, the next home game won't be until Oct. 17th. the daily highs should be in the high 60's or low 70's then. still nice weather, but noticeably chillier.

this weekend and next weekend should be the only 2 home games where you can tailgate in shorts and t-shirts.

92 degrees and dry heat....should be a cool breeze after last week. We need to give Orton some time today and let him setup the run through the pass. We also need to blitz Ayers & Williams more this week. Seattle has a banged up Oline too and we need to exploit it or Hassleback will pick us a part.

Let's kick some ass!
