1) DJ Williams and Ayers were all over the place....I think Ayers will be the guy who benefits from the Dumervil injury because this was going to be a make or break season for him....I think he makes it.
2) Orton looked good....I know everyone is hating on him but cmon, the guy was efficient and mistake free (until the last interception). He put one in the dirt early in the second quarter but other than that, he did pretty well. What were the chances of us scoring in 50 seconds last year? 3) We arent going to be dominated at the LOS anymore. We held our ground pretty well on Sunday against a top 5 back. Looking back at last year whent he Raiders and Chiefs, two of the worst teams in the NFL, steamrolled us on the ground, makes me sick but I dont think it happens again this year. The 3-4 development is starting to come around. Jamal WIlliams is huge in the middlle. 4) I had a rash on my eyelid and my balls...its gone |

Most people aren't hating on Orton, man. It's the usual sad suspects moaning like they always do.
I'd guess that 80% of the people here were happy with Kyle on Sunday, if not more. He's definitely a positive for us. Our run D was suspect at times, but on the day... MJD had 98 yards and they passed for 180 as a team. Not a disaster by any stretch. We lost the game on ST's and by giving the ball away in the redzone. Congrats on your balls. |

Edit: Actually our run game looked better than last year so I say Zane Beadles was the only Fail on offense. We just gave up on the run when we were behind. |

Also, why the hell did they have to throw to Mathis side every time. He's by far their best dback. The rest of that dbackfield is pretty mediocre. |

however, the Chargers look suspect...I'm not saying we are better but perhaps we can stay in the division race for a while....if we get Dumervile back with 5 games to play, can we win it? |

Doom only tore his pec, at least he didnt have some sort of rash on his scrotum
I think our run defense looked better, not great but better than last year Orton was solid, and should only get better given he gets protection |

Our run D still gave up what, 140 yards?
Only giving up 98 yards is a good thing to a back? Thats almost 1600 yards over 16 games. We came up with a couple good stops, but this is far from a solid run defense. A speed back that gets to the corners on us will kill us, we couldn't contain outside runs worth a damn. People need to face reality that this is a mediocre football team with an old defense and an offense that can't run the ball efficiently. |

I saw positives too. Yes the OL wasn't holding up but I think it's smart to start those two rookies. They'll learn each and every week and for rookies they aren't bad. I'm very interested to see what happens this next week. I think you could find something to dog on every player, and the coaches, but I think each week they'll learn from their mistakes. At least my hopes of going undefeated weren't perpetuated. The biggest negative to me was ST. That coach should be taken out and beaten.

6) The sparklers are fizzling, Aj Smith's ego is out of control. He believes he could replace a HOFer with a rook and lose 2 probowlers due to holdouts and not skip a beat. The division is wide open, except for Oakland, they can start making their vacation plans now.
