I got to say, it has to be the weather.
The Jacksonville game was not a fair barometer of what kind of team we are. A 1-4 start is really possible. We got some good teams coming up. Don't know where this season is headed, but after this year we will definitely know who can play and who can't. We are playing some damn good teams this year. |

High and dry climate to hot, wet and humid conditions. The most extreme change that any team deals with in the NFL.
We can't complain though because Denver has the best home field advantage in the NFL in large part due to the elevation at Mile High. |

I wish the NFL would start scheduling some FL teams to play in Denver in late Dec. Maybe even mix us in a home opener every 5 years or so.

But I thought McSkillet said weather conditions should have absolutely zero affect on an athlete's ability to perform. He went on to tell us about his glory days playing Texas high school soccer and how weather never affected his ability to play.
Which MLS team does McSkillet play for again? Because it is a crying shame the "weather athlete" is not training other professional athletes on how to perform in adverse climates. Broncos 0-8 all time in Florida, all those teams sucked!! Professional athletes my ass. McSkillet for head trainer!! |
