Well, we made too many mistakes. I thought we did some good things...but, we have alot to improve on. Blah, blah.

He looks and sounds like a guy searching for answers, possible starting to feel a little over his head. Wait till Indy gets ahold of this bendover defense then he'll really have a blank thousand yard stare at the podium

look at the stats and we held our own (or won) except for 2 categories: turnovers and special teams yardage allowed.

I stopped listening to Mcd last season..Bowlen made a mistake of hiring him.
Idiot doesn't know how to coach. All teams figured out his style.
We won 2 games out of 11.
Pathetic..

He is just stating the obvious. Manning will come in ready to go. We lose to Seattle next week 0-6 looks to be very possible (Colts, Titans, Ravens and Jets on the schedule next).

It's not that he won't be a good coach. It's just that he won't show results very soon. Read that Mangini article in last weeks ESPN mag. I imagine its very similiar to what Mcd is going through. It just a sad idea that we have to wait for this guy to figure out his own head coaching style.

Unlike the Broncos, the Texans have backs who can take it to the house.

The Colts will be there in the end though eventhough their defense is ****.

I think our biggest issue is talent right now. I think he can coach but, made it harder by trading our best players. Lets be honest even with Jay and BM this team would have plenty of upgrading to do to be a legit team.

how much long can you wait?
He started fast..Teams figured out his style and he couldn't adjust after that.
I don't understand how fans are optimistic about his coaching style.
He won only 2 games out of 11.
I thought we can win against Jags as they are very average team.
We made Garrard a pro bowl QB.

Too many empty yards where we came away with no points or FGs

Ppl complained to high heaven that Shanny would say after every game in '08 you put up blah blah yards you should produce blah blah points. Same type of game.

Can't really take any type of solice from this game as we have sat through this movie in '08.

First game is really a glorified preseason game and I don't think has any bearing on what this season could or will end up like

Time to move on to SEA.

I was happy when he traded cutler..
But, you don't trade Marshall, Tony Schefler and Hillis and expect the team to be great on offense.
I don't think Moreno is good RB...We need to upgrade that position in next years draft.

Of course you'd bring up Hillis, a retarded 3rd string FB.

I agree. I think we have the WR's. We can upgrade the QB position and should...maybe it's Tebow or not. But, we have to get a better #1 RB. We have to do that. If we would have snagged Mathews in this draft...we would have been looking good.

Too lazy to look it up...but what were marshall's stats today...and what was Lloyds...dang wow...Peyton had a huge day! Over 400 yards and 3 td's and still lost! !

5 receptions, 117 yards. 23.4 avg. Brandon Lloyd....to bad his one foot wasn't in for that TD that would have tied it.

Until the O-line is fixed we don't know WHAT we have at RB.
Moreno made most of that 60 today on his own....the line din't get it for him.

Buck disappointed AND turned the ball over.

I agree we need a speed back to complement Moreno , but the line has to get healthy first.

Yes that is the most important category -- as I pointed out in my criticism of Shanny.

I'm just pointing out that the game was closer than the "sky is falling" people want to believe.
