which state would you pick as your new home.

If I had to I'd probably pick Alaska.

You?

Been through Utah quite a few times and it doesn't appeal to me. Oregon is one place I haven't visited, but would like to.

The general problem for Utah (at least it was for me, a kid growing up in CO), was that Utah brought up visions of Moab-while Moab is not my favorite place (it's ok to visit), the Uintah Mountains are so breath-taking, and you don't get all of the idiots up there like you do in Colorado-Utah is a great secret to those who know-

Obligatory OM remark... South Carolina.

I would probably look at Nevada. Idaho and Montana would also be contenders.

If I HAD to move, then the only other place I would be able to stand to live would be NYC.

I enjoy the area and think it's beautiful. Besides I enjoy the winters and large amount of snowfall.

I lived In Marietta Ga. for a short time and didn't care for it much.

It is picturesque, I'll grant you that, but that snowfall gets real old after a couple of years though.

I was on the other side of Atlanta, more towards Athens and really liked it for the short time I was around there. I had better employment oppertunities near Charlotte at the time, so I had to make the move.

Easy. Wyoming.

Huge rivers, great fishing/hunting, no income tax, less government, cheap land with water. Amazing deals up there Nut. In fact I'm in the process of subdividing a ranch up there right now. Each lot will have it's own private hot spring.

I'll have more info later if you are anyone else was curious.

Oregon or Coronado.

And for those who chose Utah, close ski resorts and the greatest snow on earth.

why? What is a party head exactly? I just thought Santa Barbara was a cute community, easy walking to most things and the beach and thought it was quite mild and pretty when I visited a couple times. But CA in general is quite expensive and Santa Barbara is quite expensive on its own.

I like Boulder too, but I think being raised in CA and AZ makes me like warmer climates.

My wife informed me that she does not want to live in Texas just because George Bush lives there. I told her that it was a big state. But, whatever...

In answer to the question, I still want to move to Colorado. Maybe, someday...

And many, many more just like them.

There's no amount of money you could pay me to set foot (let alone live) in any of those cracker belt states.

North carolina, I hear I can get a job out there and there are hot waitresses out there.

Seriously though, If I had to move from colorado- and stay in the us, I would probably go to Florida....I dont care much for the place, but I thrive in warm weather and I love the ocean, fishing, boating and bikinis. Maybe one of the carolinas but I have never been there in the winter so I am not sure what it would be like.

I have been to almost all 50 states and I like a lot of places better.
