Default Tebow has hyperbaric chamber delivered

http://www.tmz.com/2010/08/12/tim-te...training-camp/

NFL rookie Tim Tebow just had a hyperbaric oxygen chamber delivered to his hotel room at Denver Broncos training camp ... but TMZ has learned he's been using the device for more than two years.
The device -- which is said to "greatly accelerate the recovery process" -- was purchased by Tim in 2008 for just under $20,000 ... this according to Rick Rooney, owner of Pikes Peak Hyperbaric.

According to Rick, Tebow had the device shipped from his home in Florida to training camp -- but couldn't set it up ... so PPH sent a rep to Broncos camp to help Tim out.

Rooney tells us Tebow has been getting "banged up" at practice ... and Tim felt the chamber could help him heal quicker. We're told Tim has a routine where he sits in the chamber for 60-90 minutes after every practice.

We're told hyperbaric chambers are big in the NFL right now -- with stars like T.O. and Hines Ward using them routinely.

I was waiting for this

I am sure everyone will be all over it, TMZ knew that which is why they included it.

It's not hard to fathom that his folks financed it, knowing he would one day make some money.

Before the drama queens of omane hatch another scandal consider this. It's quite possible Tebow put some money down and financed the thing himself. Hell he knew he was going to get paid.

From a site that sell them.

Hyperbaric Chamber Financing Programs

As your complete solution for all of your Portable Hyperbaric Chambers, Oxygen Concentrators and Equipment needs HyperbaricsRx offers both commercial and consumer financing programs to our customers.

There is no fee to apply (yes, it's free) and no obligation to take advantage of any financing program(s) you qualify for. The application process is quick, simple and done directly though our secure online forms.

* Consumer Financing Secure Online Application - For individuals and families.
* Commercial Financing Secure Online Application - For businesses.

We have two distinct consumer programs. The first and most popular is our 0% program. Introductory rates are 0% for up to 15 months on revolving lines of credit. Thereafter, the rate is set by the underwriter based upon the applicant's credit. Those rates range between 8.9% to 18.9%. The Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Discover Cards are issued through the largest banks in the county including Bank of America, Chase, HSBC, Citigroup, etc. Rates are set upon approval and then you are sent the agreement, terms and the card directly. Please note, cash discount product and equipment pricing does not apply with this payment method. Once you have received your card we will process your order, schedule any training requested and ship your product(s) out to you.

As an example: Based on a financed amount of 15K, the average monthly payment during the introductory period is between $300 and $450. After the introductory period, payments are about $400 per month depending on the exact interest rate you qualified for.

Our second program is for customers that don't qualify for the above. The consumer lease to own program gives individuals the option to purchase the equipment proposed. Rates begin at 19% and may go higher which are reflective of the credit risk involved. Once approved you are promptly sent the proposal and lease agreement for your signature. Once the documents are finalized we will process your order, schedule any training requested and ship your product(s) out to you.

Both programs break the total cost down into a manageable monthly payment that is often considerably less than the compared cost of a months treatments.

Again, there is no cost to apply and no obligation. If you have any questions about our products, programs or require commercial rate information please do not hesitate to contact us.

Ready to apply? J

I'm pretty sure Tim comes from a very wealthy family. I know his mom and dad are missionaries, but if you look at the his home when he was drafted, they aren't hurting by any stretch.

With their luck with injuries so far, Bowlen should build a hyperbolic team meeting room or buy them all hyperbolic cars.

Regardless of whether or not Tim ever excepted money (and i couldnt give a **** if he did), I don't understand why people assume college football is mostly clean. MANY MANY MANY MANY of the best college football players take something. As well they should, the school is using them to make millions.
