Default What nickname shall we bestow upon He who hath been named Tim Tebow?

Jay Cutler was Pumpkin Pie, the Frown Cannon, etc. Jake Plummer was Jake the Snake. Kyle Orton is Neckbeard. Brady Quinn is the Inconspicuously Gay Solo.

And so what about Tim Tebow?

My vote: Red. Simple, tasteful, classy, mysterious. Kinda like Red from Shawshank Redemption. But really, he's Red as in a Red Herring....as in so much focus is on Tim Tebow (as opposed to the bigger Denver picture) that it's ridiculous. The guy will probably have ZERO impact on the NFL in year 1 and has a high potential to be a total washout. I mean, let's be real: he's stepping into the NFL with Marcus Vick's predilection to run and Byung-Hyun Kim's delivery. **** him.

But really, what shall he be nicknamed?

Shouldn't he be called "Project"? That's what he is.

"Friar"?
"Padre?
Either would be appropriate for his new haircut.

Jake Cutler?

Marcus Vick?

If that stuff you're smoking isn't laced with anything, I'd like to try it.

Actually...there really is a Marcus Vick and like his older brother, he was also a QB at Virginia Tech.

That's Orton.

PS...Taco: Can you invert the above smiley so it's a neckbeard instead of an afro? Thanks in advance.

I can't wait for his first "hail [virgin] mary"

On another note, is it possible he sets the record for more NFL TD's before first uh, um, uh "touch downs" with females?

I know, and he got into a lot of trouble, too, including his altercation with Mr. Dumervil. And he played WR. And we're talking NFL here.

IF we're talking college, then there really is no comparison. Tebow put of better passing numbers than Manning in college.

I kind of want to call him Timmy just so I can use the Southpark stuff...Timmaay!

But I suppose that would be wrong and somehow offensive to the one known as "the Tebow"

Did you know Tebow has an action figure already?
