Woke up this morning, saw the the news, and there was an earthquake? Said the epicenter was in Germantown, MD and people in VA, WV, PA, DC, MD could feel it. Don't worry people, I'm ok it was only a 3.6. I slept through the earthquake and felt nothing. Even so, please donate to the hilife relief funds just to be safe.

Had a lacrosse game last night and slept until 7 AM......the earthquake could have been a block away, I'd still have slept through it.

Maybe it's like the eye of a hurricane.
Seriously, since when have we been getting earthquakes on the east coast. The building here are not designed to handle that. What happens when the big one finally hits. You know, 5.0. |

I hear if you try to keep your balance during an earthquake it really strengthens your core.

I live in Virginia about 15 miles from the epicenter. It woke my whole family up. My first confused, bleary-eyed thought was "how the hell is a train going by our house?"

I thought my wife slipped a quarter into the bed (like those old hotel beds). Ha, jk... I slept right through it. Darn.

It was weird, I was up and felt nothing. Folks that live in Springfield south of me, said they felt it.

There is a fault line that runs through Virginia. There was one there in 2002ish in Eastern Virginia.

I slept right through it. Didn't find out till a morning staff meeting that a rumble had even occurred. Of course, I was a pretty blind drunk last night, that could have contributed.

I don't think Californian's would even consider this an earthquake. More like a land fart.
