Default Nike unveils new Tim Tebow sneaker

http://www.solecollector.com/niketraining/?p=1614

New Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow already has the No. 1 selling jersey in the entire NFL, which means that there’s a good chance you already own one.

Well, now you can wear Tebow’s shoes with that new No. 15 jersey.

EA Sports and Nike this week unveiled a new, limited-edition shoe inspired by Tebow’s career at the University of Florida. Tebow is featured on the cover of the EA Sports NCAA 11 video game that is also coming out this week.

The shoe is primarily blue with an orange sole and green accents. But the unique Tebow features are on the heels: On the left heel is the word “PROMISE” and the date “September 27, 2008″ — a nod to his famous speech after the Gators lost a game to Ole Miss during Tebow’s junior year; the right heel has a series of dates, like 2007 and 2009, to mark Tebow’s Heisman and National Championship seasons.

The shoe is not yet for sale, but the website solecollector.com has a photo of Tebow wearing the sneaker.

So, will you race out and try to get a pair of these shoes? My guess is that at least a few of you will.

If this guy crashs and burns it will be an epic fall.

I'm betting on the guy, he is the poster boy of what is good in sports.

I love that he is a Bronco and I love being a Bronco fan once again with McDaniels at the helm.

No more Dale Carters and IHops.

We will see if high character and brains trumps raw physical ability in the NFL

I will be watching the Jets closely this year. I hope we meet them in the playoffs.

Tebow has plenty of raw physical ability... it just needs to be refined

True but I mean the team in general with Josh believing brains and "want to" trumps natural ability with an attatude.

Maybe not on the highlight reel but on the score board.

Just think too. It's been a dream for Nike that the Broncos and Gators are both orange and blue. The green swoosh is retarded though.

Those white ones look more like cleats to me. They definitely aren't just a white version of the blue shoes.

Laces complicate things...I only wish they had a pair of these in 14 wide.
