Default ESPN's Jeremy Green busted with child porn

An NFL analyst who writes for ESPN has been arrested on child porn charges, police said Thursday.

Jeremy Green, 38, of Southington was arrested at an area hotel about 5 p.m., police stated in a press release. He was charged with first-degree possession of child pornography, possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia and was in custody on $750,000 cash bail.

Police did not give out information about the crime or about the investigation because the warrant is sealed.

A former National Football League scout, Green lists his occupation on police records as "NFL analyst," police said. He is a contributing writer for ESPN.com, where he answers NFL questions from web readers, ESPN spokesman Mike Soltys said. It's too early to comment on the arrest, he said.

Green's father, Dennis Green, was a head coach for the Minnesota Vikings and the Arizona Cardinals

I guess this explains him picking the Raiders to finish ahead of us the last couple years.

Let me preface all of this by saying that I despise child porn and believe with every fiber of my body that it needs to be eradicated from the Earth. Having said that...

This makes my day! Woo Hoo! I hate Jeremy Green. That no-talent, wannabe hack of a football analyst is the absolute worst! His podcasts are childish, lame, always off-the-mark and pointless. He dawgs the Broncos always and has no idea what he's talking about.

Oh happy day!

I never want to hear this guy on the airwaves ever again.

Eff you, Jeremy. You assclown!

On the unemployment front it looks like there will soon be a position open at ESPN. If pedophiles and Burger Bill can make it there you figure it can't be all that hard a place to work...

I think it comes with the territory at ESPN. Deviant sexual activity is company policy.

Didn't Salisbury Steak get fired for sending out pictures of his "little elvis" and didn't some chick sue Terico for stalking her I remember some article where he put his hand in her cooch after she got in her car to leave a party then Trico told her "I know you want it".

They are creeps up there.

Deadspin is a website pretty much dedicated to covering the sordid details of ESPN. Not sure how much of it is true, but it's fun to read.

On ESPN radio in July of 2008, he said the Broncos had no weapons at the skill positions even though Brandon Marshall was coming off a 1,000 yard season.

Green was also a scouting reject. The Browns got rid of him because he find talent.

Jeremy Green possessed more than 50 images or depictions of child pornography and admitted that he is a cocaine user, according to police and prosecutors.

The Bristol Press reports that Green, an ESPN analyst, former Browns director of pro personnel and son of former NFL coach Dennis Green, was in court Friday and heard a prosecutor describe the case authorities have against Green as "a very serious case, and in my opinion a good case."

Green is charged with possession of narcotics and possession of drug paraphernalia, and the prosecutor says Green admitted to police he was a "cocaine user." The prosecutor also charged Green with first-degree possession of child pornography, and the Bristol Press reports that in Connecticut, an individual must possess more than 50 depictions or images to be charged with first-degree possession of child pornography.

Police arrested Green Thursday at the Holiday Inn Express in Southington, near ESPN's headquarters. Green has worked for ESPN for five years.

ESPN needs to ask LaBron what he thinks about this situation... I mean, how does this effect the NBA?
