This fight should've happened a few years ago. Now it's just 2 old boxers who need money.

My dream,
pac answers the bell in the 3rd like a raging bull or holifield against tyson, gets mayweather against the ropes and relentlesslyvpounds him until he drops, knockout in the third.
But more than likely, mayweather keeps his distance and wins a split, controversial decision.
knowing vegas and pro boxing, it will end up a draw, setting up a rematch.

Mayweather doesn't do rematches or need Pac to make more money per year.

I was hoping more like Buster Douglas against Tyson but I'll take Holyfield. Don't think Pac will win, Mayweather got his way in waiting till he could take him. I would be thrilled with a Pac win though.

Watching a fight involving a Latino fighter in Cabo is always fun.

I don't care that these guys might be a bit past their prime, they can still bring it. In fact, their "diminished" skill might cause them to brawl a bit more. Pac's southpaw jab might give Mayweather some trouble (like Sugar Shane's jab did), and I'm not sure Mayweather has ever fought someone as quick as Pac, but that said, Mayweather is the superior fighter and will probably outpoint him like he does everyone else. But if Pac can slip that jab a few times and knock Mayweather off his spot, an upset wouldn't shock me.

Mayweather is going to KO Manny. It will be a long fight with a lot of offense. Manny will take Floyd out of his comfort zone at times and then knock him down, everyone will cheer and then Manny will get knocked out.

Both fighters want to knock the other out. Someone is going to get a bit overzealous and make a mistake. I think Manny will frustrate Floyd for a round or two and then he will get back to his game plan and knock Manny out.

I'm not sure Floyd wants to knock him out as much as control the fight. He hasn't seemed that interested in knocking anyone out in years. But I hope you're right, it would save it from being a potentially boring point fest.

You didn't watch his interview with SAS did you? He kept trying to avoid saying it for as long as he could and then finally admitted he wanted to knock Manny out. Even pointing out what he has done to fighters who either beat Manny or gave him trouble.

He is even chopping wood for the first time in many years because he wants to win so badly.

Oh i don't care what he says, he's too smart a fighter to put himself at risk. I think Floyd can go for the knockout if Manny gets too aggressive and careless, but I don't see him being overly aggressive looking for the knockout. It's just not his style.

But it would be awesome if he came out swinging!

I just think Manny puts Mayweather down. Manny wants the fight more, he hasn't been in the boxing public eye for a bit and this would be the defining moment of his career. I believe he gets it done. KO in the 7th

I know he is a smart fighter. But the lust in his eyes when he admitted it.... That was like the guy pining for the girl next door and finally getting his shot.
I don't think it will take him out of his game plan but I think he will be more aggressive than normal and will look for an opportunity to knock him out.

God i hope so. I feel its a long drawn out, uneventful dance with a decision going the Mayweather. Neither fighter is half of what they were but Pacq seems to have fallen a little further.
