Default Ie8

It got rid of some crap but seems like it is kinda tuned to pushing product.

It's wild how you have to change puters every 48 months.

IE8 just want to jam crap up your ass.

My firefox has a newsfeed along the bottom, weather at the top, a search bar just for google, a search bar that can search any number of sites, it has a button that allows me to upload pictures to imageshack directly, and it has the tidiest shortcut bar ever(just icons), and that's just the snazzy stuff, never mind the security stuff it runs in the background.

I like my firefox just fine, thanks.

At the risk of starting a Mac v PC flame war... Get a Mac or a Linux box. Have had my MBP for three years and counting and it still runs like the day I got it. Don't have any plans to buy a new one any time soon. Back before I switched I was a new PC a year guy.

My Mac Power Book just turned 6 years and is running fine. I mean really fine. This machine has been a trooper and it cost about 500 dollars a year and counting

It comes with all sorts of drop down menus, but you can get rid of all the clutter and just have the upload button.

PCs are high-maintenance, but they do more. Macs do less(Well, they do video editing), but they are far more stable. It's a tradeoff. I have no problems running a PC wisely and making it last. It's all about the proper care. Different strokes for different folks, I suppose.

A pc or Linux based box for the price of a Mac will last as long as any Mac. Problem is that people buy a pc or Linux based box for $399 and somehow are surprised when their $1800 Mac runs relavent software for longer. Now that Mac is intel there isn't any difference hardware wise. Buy budget gear and get budget product life. Buy pricy gear and get long product life. Pretty simple really.

IE8 is garbage. Microsoft is "pushing it" (it's something like five years old, you know) because most people still use IE6, which is by now completely and totally insecure to the point where so many people using it is a legitimate security issue. Basically Microsoft have to tell people not to be ****ing retards.

IE8 is by far the best browser and PCs are far better than Macs. This is all based on these allowing you to do a ton more. You can get everything anyone has mentioned for other browsers on IE8. All of those customized toolbars and icons on the toolbars are pretty easy to get. It is just a browser though so it doesn't really make a difference. That is, as long as you don't care that you are holding back what people can do on websites and that you won't be able to view some websites that take advantage of what all of these other browsers don't support. People just hate on Microsoft because it is the "cool" thing to do. Anyone that isn't some conspiracy against big company loon or that actually knows what they are talking about will tell you exactly what I am saying.

As for the PC vs Mac, PCs just support far more than Macs. You will also pay a lot more for a Mac than you would for that exact same hardware in a PC. Mac is such a rip off, it is funny that they get so many suckers to get them. I personally think any pre-built computer is a joke. They all use the cheapest parts possible and then charge way to much for the 45 minutes it takes to put it together(probably about 15 for those always doing it). You all can build your own. Just look up what all parts you need. When you get them, everything will only fit into the spot it goes. I still remember learning the difference between memory and the hard drive when I went to build my first. I had no clue what I was doing and was successful in building one. You will spend a lot less money for a much better computer if you do it yourself.
