Default Call Of Duty Map Pack

Anybody download it?

I love all the maps on this. Really dig the original maps and love the two choices for classic.

I wasn't a huge fan of the first map pack. I loved the two classic maps on that, but wasn't huge on the new ones.

The Resurgence pack is great though.

Divide the fanbase even more. Great idea.

I was going to download it but I just finished the online play and moved onto another game.

Kind of over it now.

Activisions gotta line them pockets in case the next cod blows ass and the franchise fails.
Great thing is, no one wants to play with the map packs after they buy them thanks to the ****ty way matchmaking is set up. I hear it takes forever to find a game w/ the pack.

Oh and @spending $40 (if you got them both) for a bunch of old maps and a couple new ones.
Sorry to **** on your thread rhyme.

Don't understand why you're apologizing, this is a discussion board. We discuss opposite points of view.

I don't know about your matchmaking issue, I've never had that problem on any COD games and I didn't have that problem yesterday specifically.

I don't have a problem buying new maps either. I mean, all I play COD for is online play, so I look forward to them. Although I admit I wasn't high on Map Pack 1.

Normally I'd agree that recycling old content is lame, but I freakin' LOVED COD4, so bringing back some of those maps is awesome, "Crash" specifically. I played that game for days.

Actually, the one thing I am somewhat "upset" about, if you will, is that I had finally put the COD to rest and was starting to get into Splinter Cell, and now COD pulls me back in.

I know a little decency is rare around these parts nowadays, but Im tryin to bring it back!

Ive heard that players with the packs can't play the modes they want and can't play the old maps at all. It may have been fixed, but both packs have been launched with quite a few problems.
Im gonna reinstall cod4 the next time we have bad weather. I forgot how basic and fun that game is.

I didn't have a problem with the first map pack, but heard from a friend that you can only play certain matches with the new ones.

I have heard that Carnival and Trailer Park are VERY camper friendly maps. The new maps don't come out for PS3 for another month but I probably won't buy them. I am not spending anymore money on those maps. I spent 60 bucks for the game and then 15 bucks for the maps a month ago and then right after I buy those maps they come out with more crap to buy. Screw that, I'll wait for Black Ops to come out in November.

That only happens for the first few days and then the new maps are out on all of the playlists for the players that bought them.

I am on PC so I got the old new maps not too long ago, then I went away for about 2 weeks and then I fried my graphics card so I haven't played the new maps a lot.

I find I really like Crash and Storm, they both fit well with my play style. Overgrown is not winning any favourite maps with me, and bailout is too campy for me. I haven't played salvage enough to really figure that one out yet, but I like it so far on S&D and demolition and TDM, but not on Dom or HC.

This. Lovin the new maps so far. I don't see the hate for people that buy them both, $30 isn't breaking my bank so why do you care?

BFBC2 owns, but it's only at its best if youre playing with friends. Otherwise it can get frustrating if you have a **** team.

I agree with that. If you get dropped into a **** team of random noobs, you are in for a world of hurt.

You also have to have an HDTV or you will get sniped across the map a lot unless you're careful.

My 57'' LCD just went out, so I had to go back to COD for now playing on my old CRT. That thing used to be fantastic for counter sniping, rofl, people couldn't see me all the way across the map even looking right at me, but I could see them!

My above post: My 57'' LCD went out, so I've gone to a strictly Madden/CoD diet for now as to not **** my stats too much on BFBC2.

I get a new TV next weekend when I have a chance to take a trip back to Seattle.
