Default Check it out. Been rebuilding an older Toyota for the wife.

Almost done. Just some body work and a little paint and she will be looking good.

Bought the truck for 375.00 dollars
Rebuilt the motor 1200.00
Tires BFG Mudd KM2's
Eagle 082 wheels
Bush brush gaurd
and found the shell on craigs list for 100 bucks
also wired in electric cooling fans
stereo has an alpine deck 4 6.5" kicker 2 ways 1 10 JL sub powered by a 1000 watt alpine amp.
So what do you think ? How did I do ?

Oh and I am putting a 2 1/2" fabtech lift on it Tuesday.

Nice, this reads like an episode of Spikes Powerblock shows Trucks/Muscle car.

I wish I didn't have nerve damage and could do something like this.

I was wondering about that. I will put a few pic's on here. I have been wrenching for about 20 years so I guess that is just common language to me.

Oh its common language to me. That was a compliment, the work you put in is worthy of an episode or series on Power Block!

Yes it is. A lady came into my shop and it had a blown head gasket. She was going to have it towed to a junk yard. She said they were going to give her 375.00 for it. So I said I'll give it to you right now. Score! So anyways turns out that head had a big crack in the intake valve coolant port and it filled the whole exhaust up with coolant. I blew and drain what I could but man you should have seen it smoke when I fired it up. Awesome!

I've been working on a 93 celica, I paid $350 for it with a blown motor and I'm looking forward to the day I get it done.

It's really not that hard, just think of it as a big set of lego's. You should be able to do anything you want with the help of a Digital camera and a Manuel.

When I am training my new guys I make them take photos when it is coming apart that way when it goes back to gather they know where everything went.

As for time, if you have the funds it goes way faster. I started working on this last 9 days ago.

If you look in the corner of the last photo you can see one of my mechanics 86 Corolla . He has that thing all tricked out. He does drifting events. Those cars can be a lot of fun to drive.
