“It’s the business side of football, we all know that. For the most part I’m just happy to be out here and be with the team. At the end of the day, I’m going to be a Bronco in 2010."

That's what I like to hear.

Josh probably had to wait and get Tebow to sign off on a long term deal for Dumervil.

Only two players have more sacks than Dumervil's 43 since he joined the league four years ago — DeMarcus Ware (56 1/2) and Jared Allen (52). Ware last year received a $79 million contract with $40 million guaranteed; two years ago, Allen got a $72.26 million deal with $31 guaranteed.

This is a lie. Bowlen is broke. If he does sign him long term, it will somehow magically save the Broncos money.

Wrong.

He's signing him solely for the purpose of being able to bench, then trade him.

That's good to hear. I'm wondering if they are going with Doom on one side and Ayers on the other?

That would have done Jesus no good, since there was no Long John Silver's near when Jesus fed the multitudes.

What's great is that we're rewarding a team first player affter ousting the malcontents.

Dumervil is out there practising (without a contract), showing the others how to conduct themselves with the Broncos if they want nice shiny new contracts.

Well played by both sides so far.
