WAY OT: Fictional Characters - The Orange Mane

I am trying to remember a character, not sure if it was a movie, cartoon, or fictional novel character, which had 3 ponytails. I have been stumped for a few hours, and maybe I made the whole thing up, but I remember there was such a character. Any help would be appreciated.

I originally thought it wa Pippi Longstocking, but I can not find evidence that it is.

No, she had only two.

While we're doing this, I played a video game in the early nineties where you would learn hand gestures to cast spells. Does anyone remember this? My brother does, but neither of us can remember the game.
