OT: Phobias - The Orange Mane

I got into a discussion with a friend of mine. He has a fear of wide open spaces. So I started to wonder if I had any phobias...luckily I dont. I hate clowns, but I dont fear them. Also hate sharks but I dont freak out if I am near one.

Anyways. Got me thinking. What are the board's fears/hates/dislike strongly.

I have a phobia of fresh water fish. Salmon. Trout. Sardines. Anything with flat eyes and silvery scales...

It's odd, because tropical fish and the like don't bother me at all. I have to avoid the fish section of supermarkets. Annoying as all get out.

When I was a kid this movie made me afraid to put my shoes on. Luckily that fear is no longer around... not sure what scares me now. I know I think worms are ****ing nasty. Fear would probably be something that would kill me. Only one life to live

The spiders that hang from the eaves are the ones that really creep me out... I can't walk onto a porch without checking for "eave-hangers"..... *shudder*

I'm not afraid of worms... or even snakes. But spiders... ewwwwwww

i have a fear of heights i can climb up a wall no probs but i cant abseil back down. i also get creeped out by nuns dont know why but i've always found them really creepy

Last year my son turned 18 and we went skydiving

Pantyhose. Can't stand the sight of them on or off women. Stockings freak me out too unless they are fishnet or something other than nylon. I really hate the sight of feet in them.

I've been skydiving some and it doesn't bother me so much as some lower heights. Being so high up almost makes it seem like the ground is not real.

I freaking hate snakes, but only if its just air separating me and the snake. Put a snake in an aquarium, and I love watching them feed on mice and stuff. I also hate rats. Those things are nasty.

I also find anything catholic creepy as well. Last time i was in a catholic church I had goosebumps cuz I was so afraid some priest was gonna sneak up and grab my...

Oh and also being stuck in tight spaces I start to panic. Claustrophobia for sure.

Lightning. I absolutely hate and fear lightning. Have since I was a child, the subsequent loud thunder let's me know the power and just freaks me out. It's a joke at my work, if it's lightning, they know I won't be there till it's over.

Also confining spaces.
