Default Kool Renditions...

Post your favorite song and we'll have a spring concert.

Only favorites!

I will lead off with this great number, SOME DAY SOON, by Ian Tyson, who is a genuine cowboy. (He is from Alberta - not Nashville.) Some of you may remember the duet Ian and Sylvia from the 1960s. If not - this is your lucky day!

Also featuring Judy Collins. (This was taped in 1987.)

Subject of this song is incredibly graphic for 1900's America.

I only know of Leadbelly because of Nirvana. I did some searches through Itunes and found out Nirvana's My Girl is a cover of Leadbelly's Where did you sleep last night"...

good song.

I've heard it, Ledbelly is king of the 12 string.

Secret History of Rock n Roll is an awesome listen, Library of congress recording.

Here's a link to the song. They don't have this one on youtube.

Well that's lame when you link it, it only plays 30 seconds.
