Obviously, he won't command a big price tag.
This is a no-brainer if he's healthy enough. (No pun intended.) |

I'm all for it -- providing the price is right. Basically, we'll be renting him for the last 1-2 good years of his career.

Brian Westbrook will visit the Broncos next
Posted by Mike Florio on May 12, 2010 2:55 PM ET By all appearances, the Redskins gave running back Brian Westbrook a courtesy visit, aimed at getting his name out in circulation so that someone else will become interested. If that was the goal, it worked. Adam Schefter of ESPN reports that Westbrook will now visit the Broncos. "He had a really positive visit with the Redskins," agent Todd France told Schefter. "We're confident we're going to find the perfect fit." In this regard, the "perfect fit" will be a team inclined to sign an aging player with a potentially wrecked knee and a concussion problem that could make him unavailable for long stretches of the 2010 season. http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com...-broncos-next/ |

or he could just come to a team without a real 3rd down back. but continue trying to convince yourself taht he left washington without a contract because he will become a redskin soon.

I guess Buckhalter + Westbrook = one backup RB. So there's that.

i like Westbrook, but I would pass..he has very limited amount left in the tank..I'd rather keep a roster spot for someone who can be with the team for several years

Westbrook is awesome catching out of the backfield. Imagine the screens.
And F Florio for his usual, biased bull****. |

I would love a multi-faceted RB like Moreno learning from one of the best like Westbrook.
Side note, westbrook drops from a 92 RB to a 75 on Madden if he signs with us. |

Given the fact Denver didn't get a back in the draft, it does make some sense. He is worth a shot.

This. If we are rebuilding and already have a 1st round RB and a Vet, why bring in someone that is all used up?
