Embroiderer Hopes Tebow Jersey Idea Takes Off - The Orange Mane

Newly drafted quarterback Tim Tebow is already a hit for the Denver Broncos off the field. His number No. 15 jerseys are selling fast across the state.

But those jerseys can cost anywhere from $80 to $125, and with that in mind embroiderer Daniella Grieve decided to give a little boost to her business by selling Tebow jerseys at a much reduced rate.

How is she doing it? If thrifty fans bring her a Brandon Marshall Broncos jersey (he's the former No. 15) she'll sew on Tebow's name on top of Marshall's.

"It could turn into something big, and if not we have Tebow jerseys for our two little boys," Grieve told CBS4.

Broncos jerseys with Marshall's name on them are now going for less than $10 at some stores, including Sports Authority.

Never pitch your jersey. You can always recycle it.

I transformed a cheap Portis into a Bell, and am waiting for the next 26 to come along.

My only gripe is that the Tebow name plate doesn't match the Broncos blue.

Last I read (few years back) the NFL gets 3% and the player gets 1%. That could have changed by now. But players do get a check.
