They should be thanking him for something exciting happening on a baseball field.

My first thought was "good God, did they have to tase him?" I mean, how many people have we had over the years run out on fields who have successfully been detained sans-tasing?
Then I got to thinking about how crazy some people are in this world...I guess if I were worth millions of dollars, I might want someone with a taser protecting me from a potential lunatic, as well. Alas, I'm not worth that much, so I'll just have to rely on my Chuck Norris-like reflexes. ![]() |

If you're 17 or 18, and have to call your dad to ask if it'd be OK, it's probably a bad idea. If your dad says it's a bad idea, and you do it anyway, you're a fool. It's not funny, it's not clever, it's not daring, it's stupid and dangerous in the day and time we live in. What if one of those guys chasing him blows an ACL, or suffers a stroke/heart attack chasing him? There are too many what if's that could result in bad, even catastrophic things happening to let idiots run onto the field, regardless of their intent.
Ride the lightning, little man. Penn State deserves you. |

Quickest, safest, and easiest way to dispose of a situation that was potentially dangerous. How can you know what's on someone's mind when they do something so monumentally stupid?

Tase 'em all.
On a side note, can we please hire someone in law enforcement that isn't a fat ****? Honestly, every time I see a chase video of any kind, it's some skinny guy running away from some tub of guts that looks like he just waddled away from a long day at the Shoney's buffet. |

probably should be a judgement call. the kid was obviously just an idiot frolicking around in the outfield rather than someone who was about to attack someone. i wouldn't have tased him i would have tracked him down like Atwater... but some people don't have that ability.

Dude... if I was security and working at that ballpark I would have ****ing bull rushed his ass Goldberg style, or done a Dawkins Wolverine leap.
Popps is right too. What the **** is with so many fat asses that work security. It's absurd. |
