Default My contract with Verizon is up. Who should I go with and what phone should I get ?

I was thinking the windows phone 8.1 . I like that fact that it has a kick ass camera . I don't like the fact that it is a Duel core and not a Quad core. I would love to hear what you all have to say.

Thanks

I loved Verizon here in Denver...should have never switched. Sprint, here anyhow, is just miserable. Literally, spots in my own house where I will get dropped calls.

Verizon gets the best coverage in my area.

I just picked up the new Samsung Galaxy S5 last week and it kicks ass.

If you go with AT&T, be careful of the "Next Plan". They lease you a phone for $25 per month, so you end up buying an iPhone for like $650 by the time it's all said and done. My wife got ****ed by that, and didn't notice until the next day... Luckily I get a phone form work, so mine is free.

Now, having said that, if you do go with AT&T, PM me and I have a discount code for %17 off your monthly service and accessories. It's from my company and we can give it to friends and family, so it's not illegal for me to do so! It something called Sponsorship Foundation Account. I've given it to probably 15 or more people already.

In Denver T-Mobile is awesome. It's a little bit spottier farther outside of civilization, but it's never been an issue for me. It's by far the best deal going. A phone like the Nexus 5 off contract and the cheap data plan is perfect for me.

Buy a Nexus 5 https://www.google.com/nexus/5/ and get a pre-paid plan from T-Mobile. For $50 you can get unlimited data and min's.

Stick with Verizon and see what phone you can get the best deal on.

If it's on month to month for you right now, wait till the new iPhone that's soon to come out. Gonna be pretty sweet. I've had att for years never a problem. get to look at unlimited porn/phone for under 80 a month. I'll never switch to anything as long as I have unlimited data per month.

I think they are only grandfathering in unlimited data into new contracts now. I had a friend get talked into changing his plan and didnt realize they stripped the unlimited data. Couldn't get it back. I don't think phone companies like that unlimited data option. I think att has an option to make your phone a wifi hot spot wherever you go

T-Mobile, if you have coverage in your needed areas.

Nothing beats no contract and the ability to keep a phone more than two years and have your bill drop instead of just giving more free money to the provider.

I think they'll strip your unlimited data the next time you want to upgrade.

I'm pretty happy with AT&T (better than Sprint that I've had in the past). I used to have problems getting internet at bronco games but that was better last season. Still have occasional problems getting internet at the Pepsi Center (like Saturday night game 5 of Avs/Wild). Otherwise for phone and 4G access around town AT&T has been good. We have four phones with at&t and I also have 4G access on my ipad.

Once you sign up they won't upgrade you to a better plan unless you ask for it. I've been seeing their family plan advertised on their commercials for a couple of months and today I stopped in an AT&T store to see if I could get that as an existing customer. Saved me about $100/month over what I was previously paying.

Correct. My Verizon contract is up also but I haven't upgraded for this very reason. Don't wanna lose my unlimited data plan.

You can keep your Verizon unlimited data plan if you buy the phone out right for the full retail price.

Not sure what phone, but I'd stay with verizon. Unless ATT just gives you a great deal.

True. But the galaxy s5 for instance is over $600.

I like the Samsung Galaxy series but just going off of what I experience here in OC and up in Big Bear (mountains), don't get Sprint! I miss Nextel and this "network upgrade" has been going on way too long. They suck and doubt their network will give us anything better.

I just upgraded a couple months ago. As of right now it still works. But who knows if they change it on the next iPhone launch.

That's where AT&T and Verizon are different. I kept my original unlimited data, got the upgraded reduced price on new phone, sold my old iPhone back to them for 200 and paid nothing but the tax.
