Default Now for the alternate reality Bronco Draft

So, assuming you had 20/20 perfect hot tub timewarp vision,

how would you have conducted the draft?

Here's mine, with no trades involved.

I know, I know, can't we just MOVE ON? Thus saith the Lord, thy God TEBOW.

11 C Pouncey (18 Steelers)
43 WR Golden Tate (60 Seahawks)
45 T Ducasse (61 Jets)
80 WR Decker (80 Broncos)
114 DT Al Woods (123 Saints)
183 RB Dwyer (188 Steelers)
220 LB Chaney (220 Eagles)

drat, i forgot a qb!

I would have been upset if we took Pouncey at 11

No thanks to Pouncey at 11. I'm fine with Walton.

1 - Even though excessive use of smilies is totally awesome, there is such a thing as overkill...

2 - I liked our draft better

Could have taken Pouncey at 13 and kept the extra 4th from 49ers.

I wouldn't change the first round much despite the risks. I would be tempted take Thomas at 24 rather than jumping the gun but they really wanted him so it makes sense.

here's what I would change:

At 45 I would take Gerhart
At 80 I would take an OG prospect (Beadles would probably be gone by then)'

That's it.

Yeah, I love the first four there orinj ... but Puoncey at 11 would be a reach.

Can you imagine if somehow, some way, we could've nabbed Pouncey and Iutapi? Best young O-line line maybe ever ....

Chris is the only one in this thread that participated and said what was better rather than just say how the OPs draft sucked.

Let's see it folks, what kind of dream draft could we have gotten?

I would have traded our next 15 first round picks and got some damn good players that way.

I would make the trades we made earlier in the draft.

Round 1 pick 24. Probably go with Thomas.

Round 2 pick 43. Tim Tebow.

Round 2 pick 45. Zane Beadles.

Round 3 pick 70. D'Anthony Smith

Round 3 pick 80. J.D. Walton (though Id have probably reached for him since I really wanted him, but we got him here so cool. )

Round 3 pick 87. Eric Decker

Trade picks 114, 137, get pick 99. Everson Griffen.

After that, whatever. Probably woulda gone Eric Olsen in the 6th. Think its safe to say Im pretty F'in happy with this draft. If we could do alternate universe draft from last year and id go a whole different direction. I still hate that draft.

I liked our draft better than that one. Here's what I would have done:

22) Thomas, WR
43) Beadles, OG
45) Gerhart, RB
70) John Jerry, OG
80) Walton, C
87) Decker, WR
114) Eric Norwood, LB
137) Cox, CB
183) Dorin Dickerson, TE
225) The Squid, CB
232) Kirlew, LB
