According to Josh that is.
Coach Josh McDaniels said Friday night that he's hopeful Marquez Branson will emerge as Denver's pass-catching TE replacement for Tony Scheffler. And we're supposed to take this seriously? "You didn’t see him last year but we have very high expectations," McDaniels told reporters. "He was Antonio Gates and all those guys last year on the (scout) team." A 2009 undrafted free agent from Central Arkansas, Branson did score 18 TDs in college. No TE coming then or smokescreen ![]() Time will tell. |

Smoke screen. I think if NE hadn't moved up for Gronkowski, Denver would have sprinted to the stage with that pick.

No TE coming. We're going to continue to roll with the Graham/Quinn blocking TE who can make the occasional play in the passing game. This is the best fit for the WR talent we've recently acquired, and the style of offense McDaniels obviously wants to move us towards (a hybrid of the spread and a pro style power running attack).

Still a bunch of good TEs available. Don't sweat it, we'll get a pretty good prospect on day three.
Here is what you have left... I'd take any of these guys to be perfectly honest. Dickerson is another Sharpe type TE. Not great size but a real weapon catching the ball. Aaron Hernandez is a great player as well. Don't know much about McCoy or Harbor. Pitta is a good looking player as well. Dickerson, Dorin TE 6'4" 226 Pittsburgh McCoy, Anthony TE 6'4" 259 Southern Cal Pitta, Dennis TE 6'4" 245 BYU Hernandez, Aaron TE 6'2" 245 Florida Harbor, Clay TE 6'3" 252 Missouri State |
