The Broncos' selection at No. 11 overall is reportedly "coming down to" Brandon Graham of Michigan and Maurkice Pouncey of Florida.
The Broncos' preference is to trade down, but that's the case for just about every team drafting in the top 15 or so. Pouncey, a serious late riser, now seems to be a lock for the top 20. Graham has generated almost no draft-day buzz. A slide into the 20s isn't out of the question for him if Denver passes. Source: Michael Smith on Twitter Related: Maurkice Pouncey, Broncos |

I'll flip if we draft Pouncey at 11. He should be available lower which means we can get some more picks and pay him less.

If we really do want Graham, does that mean
a) Ayers is moving to DE? b) We're going to deal Doom or not give him a new contract? c) We just love Graham so much that we can't pass him up? d) other |

Impact player and our team still needs to upgrade it's pass rush....not to mention Brandon Graham is solid against the run. |

I'd rather see them not be cute to gain a pick and lose the guy they really want. If they have no one of value at 11 and like alot of talent in the second lets trade down.

It could also mean our team has a philosophy of getting as many of those type of players as possible. High motor, impact guys that you can be creative defensively with.

You guys forget "We are not trading Jay Cutler"
"Brandon and I have a great relationship." The only thing that is for sure is that nothing's for sure... It will be an interesting night.... |

Graham would be a better OLB than Ayers imo.
The Doom/Graham combo looks like it would be like what Indy has except in a 3-4. Would no doubt force Ayers inside unless we want to give up on playing him. |

When do we start to see people trading their spots in the draft? I thought for sure we would've heard of at least one or two teams trading down/up today.

I would expect us to trade down and then take one of those guys if we can. Maybe Ayers would move inside, I hadn't considered that.

I think teams agree to trades beforehand in the case the player they want is where another team is picking. And if they are there, then they do the trade during the draft.

When their pick is up, most of the time. No team is going to want to tip another off about a trade up until the final moment.
