I was thinking the same thing but mostly about his statement regarding Suh.

As far as Tebow, I've been giving a guy here at work some crap about his teams pick. He's a Rams fan and he's been estactic about them getting Suh. Then the Bradford talk comes out and he's just freaked out. I told his wife to leave the house because if they announce Bradford he'll go ballistic. Now the talk of Tebow to us and more talk the Rams will take Suh and suddenly the tables are turned. Please let me come out of this being able to talk crap to him.

If we trade down into the mid-late twenties, Tebow is definitely right in play.

I would be very, very excited about the pick if it did happen, too.

I hate Nebraska with a passion, but Suh is the most surefire DT prospect that I've seen in a very long time. If he busts it will be due to injury.

You never know. Ever. Even in Suh's case.

Steve Emtman was a "sure thing", and he flopped in massive fashion. I could go down the list of players who should have been sure things, but failed in one degree or another. Look at Reggie Bush...he was supposed to revolutionize the position and immediately step in to be the greatest back of all time. He flopped. He's a kick returner and a 3rd down scat back.

Dan Wilkinson, Jeff George, Ki-Jana Carter, Tim Couch, Courtney Brown, etc. All flops who were once "sure things".

Suh may be a great player, he may be an average player, or he may bust completely. The odds are against him.

Gerald McCoy...
Nah, it's not going to happen.
Well, I also think McD will get Tebow as well.
Call me crazy, but for some reason I see McD doing that with our 1st pick...

Here is a bold one...

Broncos trade with Detroit and land Suh.

I'm thinking we send them #11 a 2 this year and a 2 next year

Denver trades a late pick for Lendale White after it misses out on Gerhart.

I don't remember ever thinking any of them would be sure things, especially Bush who I thought was way over hyped and was thrilled when Kubiak took Williams. I only remember 4 players I watched and thought were sure things, Peyton Manning, Bo Jackson, Bruce Smith, and #1, John Elway. Now Suh. That why I say he's a once in a great while pick. Maybe you should watch the dude perform before taking in the media hype and form your own decision.

Agreed. Suh is just a complete dominator, there is no "smoke and mirrors" to his status as a prospect. Very high character, tough, beastly physical attributes, big motor, smart. I haven't been so "sure" of a prospect in a long time, and I've seen about 75% of the kid's games by virtue of living in Omaha. The only thing that will stop this kid is injury.

You want bold?

The Broncos pass on the draft claiming they want the players they have and don't need any one else.

Did anyone see that sports science on ESPN with Suh? He hit with 3200 pounds of force. The hardest recording they ever had. He hit harder then Ray Lewis. The had him at 914 joules of energy off the line. They said that is enough to launch all 313 pounds of Steve Hutchinson 2 feet in the air.

You guys really think they're going to take Tebow? A southpaw behind center when we have the best LT in the league?

Pass on Tebow! or Just Say No to Tebow!
