Default OT: Debut Album

Hey Guys and Gals!

I know I don't post much here, but I read this site life it's my job!

I'm starting this thread to let you all know that my Band, Straight to Sunset, is releasing our debut album over the next two weeks! It is VERY exciting for me especially because it really is a life long dream come true. I would Love any support at all from all of you! If you do facebook we have a musician page there that I would love you to add. Our CD is for sale on cdbaby. comhttp://www.cdbaby.com/cd/StraighttoSunset

If you don't want the physical CD i would love for you to check out our stuff on digstation.com

http://www.digstation.com/ArtistAlbu...d=ALB000046715

This is a GREAT site for all independent artists and it's digital downloads!

The CD is only $10 and will be on ITUNES VERY shortly!

Thanks for all of the support even if it's just a few minutes to check it out or a PM letting me know what you think!!!

Can we hear a sample of the music somewhere before we buy? I'd hate to buy your CD just to find out you sing country (I hate country) and then throw it out the window.

DEATHSicle needs a Guitarist, Bassist, Lead Singer, 2nd Keyboard player, Moog Tarus pedalist, Drummer, creepy british dude to play tamborine, backup rhythm Guitarist who can play solos a major 3rd above or below the lead player, Tone wheel organist, Jazz Flautist (who can also play Chapman stick in a pinch), 3rd Keyboardist, Assorted horn players who only use coke recreationally (hop head horn sections are a b**** on the road), Hot Groupies, and maybe a 4th Keyboardist and Guiro player/Timipanist/rainstick/chimetree and a Piano player.

If your band thing doesn't work out PM me for a tryout.

I am close to finishing the lyrics for "We are DEATHSicle", "DEATHsicle Woman" and "DEATHSicle, the many flavors of DEATH - Cherry is the best"

If you check our Myspace those are the first three demos we had, so it doesn't have any of our finished product. I am trying to update our facebook player with a few of the tracks and I will go and update the myspace page now. Thanks!

BTW not country it's a very easy to listen to soft rock. Acoustic and very organic.

next time you release your cds before Offseason topics are yanked. If it came out today, you would have made it. Now you need to bump this thread everyday until it comes out. Good luck. I might listen to a tune on Myspace but I have a feeling it is touchy, feely kind of music. When you start to play rockabilly, give me a holla.
