Default What sites do you get your draft prospect info from?

Now that the OM Mock is over and most of the UDFA bids are in, I figured we can all share our favorite draft sites. Here's mine:

1. CBS Sports (http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/p...ct%20Ratings): Probably the best of the free sites, IMO.

2. National Football Post (http://www.nationalfootballpost.com/...ections.html): Relatively new, and their board doesn't seem to be cribbed from anyone else, which is a good thing in my opinion, as it means they're doing all the film work themselves.

3. Sports Illustrated (http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/foo...tion/QB.html): Always late in getting their site up, these evaluations just came on-line about a week ago. Still, lotsa good stuff here.

4. NFL.com (http://www.nfl.com/draft/2010/tracke...-by-position): Not too much in-depth stuff here, but will occasionally have some unique information on some prospects.

5. Pro Football Weekly (http://www.profootballweekly.com/draft): Nolan Nawrocki is one of the best draft guys out there -- his yearly draft guide is the only one that I pay for, and is highly recommended.

6. ESPN (http://espn.go.com/nfl/draft): Occasionally interesting articles, although I find their draft site to be disappointing, given how large of an organization they are. Kiper saves all his best work for his draft guide, which is good but not great (lotsa typos, a bit amatuerish, surprisingly).

7. Draft Daddy (www.draftdaddy.com): The best draft blog that I've seen, lots of good information from obscure sources.

8. Rick Gosselin from the Dallas Morning News (http://www.dallasnews.com/sharedcont...itindex.html): Most people acknowledge him as the most clued-in draft guru out there, and his final mock tends to be the most accurate. He usually doesn't start posting stuff until the week before the draft, but it's all must-read material.

9. Fox Sports (http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/draft-central): meh. Just adequate, has one or two informative articles per month...

One site I don't recommend is The Sporting News -- I subscribed to their War Room from 1999 until last year, and the site has gotten progressively worse. Poor prospect evaluations, mock drafts that seem to be random, few updates of the site, etc., etc. Save your cash and spend it on Pro Football Weekly or Mel Kiper's yearly guide if you must.

That's all I've got -- how about you guys?

Just so you know, CBS Sports' draft info is just the short version of what NFL Draft Scout gives for free.

That is the best site I've found for looking up combine and pro day numbers, recent news articles on guys, etc..

draftcountdown.com - I like this one. Not good player evaluations, but gives you lists of guys and rankings and some good articles times to time

walterfootball.com they update prospect rankings daily, have mock drafts that go 5 rounds deep, as well a mock draft database that provides links to hundreds of other site's mocks sorted by most recent. Its really a great site.

They are one of the few sites to include yearly and career stats for all the players....something I really like to see.

what's with draftcountdown this year though? Scott only got to about half of the scouting reports? Pretty disappointing from a site that used to be a go-to for me.

There is an entire mock draft database on hailredskins.com ranging from individuals to virtually all the various sites mentioned above AND they're updated every few days. There are between 75 and a hundred mock drafts, some much better than others obviously.

I like Walter as well. They do a great job of updating.

CBS Sports, along with the Mane analyses. I compare them back and forth.
