Default Is Shanahan copying Josh McDaniels?

I think so.

Shanny has always "borrowed" the new trends that he liked. That said he watched what his Broncos did last year and now he is willing to toss away a good 4 - 3 defense to get on the 3 -4 bandwagon.

Josh brings in someone else's starter (Orton) to run his system while he grooms someone else so Shanny runs out a steals McNabb.

Josh goes bigger on O line and watch Shanny follow suit here to.

I bet Shanny mumbles to himself, "I wonder what Josh would do in this situation"?

Trolling? I don't think so. I think he's sincere. Shanahan is following the McDaniels model. After all, he never could draft worth a ****. Learn from the master, Mike. Learn from the master.

Better poll...

If Shanahan would have traded for McNabb instead of Cutler... would he still have a job in Denver today?

Yes

No

Except for the fact that Shanny and Slowik made the decision to run a 3-4 defense wherever they went next and were touring the camps of teams that ran the 3-4 defense in the summer of 2009 before it was even made clear exactly what schemes Denver would be running and just how successful McD/Nolan's defense would be last season.

They already admitted to doing so. They tried to copy the 2007 Patriots offense in 2008.

I'm sure on opening day Shanahan will come out pale, wearing a hoodie with the sleeves cut off.

Talk about trolling and deeply delusional at the same moment. Shanahan tried multiple times to go to the 3-4 prior to Nolan's changes.

As for McNabb, let me think about this. Think Shanahan might be any good with a older Quarterback with a decent arm and lots of experience? The changes that he can make McNabb perform like Elway has nothing to do with McKid.

And if they ever play/win against the Bronco's, he will do a minimum of 8 fist pumps and drop an F bomb.

This is not trolling - It would be less that smart if Shanny ignored a good idea just because it came from a first year coach. Shanny is way too smart to not recognize Josh's genius. No Sir Shanny knows... He will copy his every move until someone better comes along Just you watch and see. Shanny has been a copy cat all his career and I mean this as a complement

I also see him calling out players from the other teams right before the game starts.
