I'm in northern AZ and felt my chair go back and forth and the pictures on the wall sway for about a minute. Very weird feeling.

You're right, it was actually southeast of Mexicali, closer to Yuma and San Luis, which are towns right on lower basin of the Colorado River.

Baja lives in Baja California Sur.

The quake was in Baja California. Los Angeles area residents are closer to the epic center than Baja is.

My place in San Diego was shaking for about 30 seconds. No apparent damage was done. I'm from Colorado, so it was the biggest one that I ever felt.
