I just felt a pretty good jolt for about 45 seconds!!

6.9 centered south of Mexicali, B.C. about 30 miles.

I'm in northern AZ and felt my chair go back and forth and the pictures on the wall sway for about a minute. Very weird feeling.

Someone else in the house was screaming "earthquake" repeatedly....but I barely felt it.

In Tucson and didn't feel anything!

He's fine. Knowing him he probably waved it off as an acid flashback or the US government drilling into the fault lines to ruin the pure culture/government of Mexico.

You're right, it was actually southeast of Mexicali, closer to Yuma and San Luis, which are towns right on lower basin of the Colorado River.

Baja lives in Baja California Sur.

The quake was in Baja California. Los Angeles area residents are closer to the epic center than Baja is.

I have folks/ friends up in Havasu City, Yucca Valley, & Hemet. I have no doubts they felt it.

We felt it just north of LA.... pretty mild, just a bit of a continued rolling sensation.

My place in San Diego was shaking for about 30 seconds. No apparent damage was done. I'm from Colorado, so it was the biggest one that I ever felt.
