Nice signing.

Good interior rush guy in the nickel and a guy who can be part of the rotation at DE in the base defense.

Still need more on the D-Line, I really wish we'd find a way to get Dwan Edwards, but Bannon and Green are very nice signings.

Land Jamal and we're looking at a starting DL of Green, Williams and Bannan with McBean, Fields and Peterson as the reserves. Not too bad.

so everyone is happy about a career backup with 2-3 sacks in the past 2 seasons? i hope this is solely for depth with a small contract

Yup. 3-4 linemen are known for double digit sack totals.

The drop in sacks have been largely due to the defensive philosophy change at New England. It's a huge reason he's here.
