FAU is a very good school academic wise, but dont expect very good athletic teams. Ive heard the teachers are good thier thought. The boca area is very nice and has alot of upper class area's. Theirs also ALOT of really cool places to go to around Boca. Del Rey to the north, Ft Laurderdal to the south and miami. Overall very nice area and school.

The Owls made it to first place in the Sunbelt I think the first year they moved up to Division I in football.
Is a good area and I would say is a school in transation from a commuter to a regular university. Good luck.
