Default Props to Maners for all their work over the years to educate the press re: Little

There have been some folks at this site that have been working tirelessly for years to inform and educate the print and electronic media about Floyd Little. I'm talking about B-Love, Bronco LB 52, Moops, Wabbit etc. (I can't remember them all). Not sure if this day would have come for Floyd without all the hard work of these people. The fanbase owes them a hat tip.

Moops was the man.

I sent out some emails but nothing like what Tom did.

I think MHR did a lot more than we did here but the day has come when we can say Floyd Little, Pro Football Hall of Famer!

Good work guys! I can only imagine how Little feels!

Congrats to "The Franchise", there wouldn't be Broncos football today if it was not for him. I am very glad he is getting in. It's a great day for Bronco fans.

It starts with Moops even Floyd said this day because possible because of the book they wrote together as being the catalyst.

Apparently Rick Gosselin had a lot to do with it also as Floyd thanked him on the NFL network coverage.

What a great day!

Thank you guys, thank you Moops! Today brought back memories of sitting in the U of U stadium watching this "little" running back in a preseason game. He became the reason I am a Bronco fan. I couldn't wait to watch that guy again.

Again, thank you guys.

Sadly, Little retired ere I was born, but I sure would have loved to see him run.

Now it's time to educate the press about "Tombstone" Jackson and Gradishar. We have to get those guys in there!

He was special, that's why he's in the HOF. Dude was the only reason a lot of Bronco fans went to Bronco games, just to watch Mr. Little juke a linebacker out of his shoes. He wasn't some fluke RB, though. Finished his career 7th all time in yards rushing, plus he returned kickoffs and punts.

http://www.pro-football-reference.co...L/LittFl00.htm

Check out Floyd's career punt and kickoff returns. 11 yds avg on 81 punt returns. 24 yd avg on 104 kickoff returns.

I wore his number when I was RB in 5th grade football! 44 is my lucky number!

With all due respect, that's not a surprise. I recommend you dig into Bronco history some.

Tom,

Can I nominate you to write something for the Orange Mane frontpage on Floyd getting into the HOF.

It would be cool to hear a 1st person account of how you got the book deal started and how intrest ramped up to get Floyd on the ballot and culminating (sp?) in the vibe in the room when the announcement was made and post announcement info.

Thanks again for getting the book done and giving Floyd his best chance at making the HOF!
