What a stupid comment. So you're saying you prefer the days of the 50's when they couldn't show married couples sleeping in the same bed on TV? Or are you just one of those religion-hating morons that's re-imagined history to make out Christianity into some kind of boogey-man, where "in the good ol' days" they showed porn on every channel all day, but sadly Christianity took it all away? Is that what happened?

Moron.

I don't think it was ever intended to be shown on tv. It's one minute, 19 seconds to begin with. Most commercials are thirty seconds or less. Would it have trouble getting through most tv network censors? Most definitely. But when was Bud Light going to put on an 80-second commercial anyway?

I think this is like the Go Daddy stuff they *intend* to get rejected so they can then lure you to their website to see what all the fuss was about.

IOW, I think most of you fell for a viral publicity stunt.

Yeah, it was kinda funny but I sure as heck wouldn't want my office to go around dressed that way - beer or no beer.

with appropriate lead in/lead out it'd run for 1:30. Three time slots.

FYI, the Superbowl doesn't sell 30 second commercials, they sell 30 second slots. MANY companies buy a block of slots to run a commercial longer than 30 seconds. Beer commercials in particular tend to have multi-slot commercials, or multiple slots linking a series of commercials together.

Its pretty tame in comparison to some other rejections. If Bud Light was looking to make a viral add I'd imagine they'd have gone a bit more over the top than this. In comparison a few rejected spots for this year; the Dante's Inferno video game add was supposed to end with the game's marketing line of "Go to Hell" and a gay single dating website wasn't allowed to run a commercial showing two dudes watching football making out. If Bud Light was looking to go viral they didn't really match up well to the competition this year.
