Default Another reason to hate the raiders:

In 1976, they started the idiotic trend of putting a crapton of little diamonds on Superbowl rings. The rings before then were classy.

good article by the way

That's cool to see all the diferernt rings. Some of them are cool looking and some are ugly (see Ravens Ring).

I wouldn't say reach, but the douchebag Cowboys had some extra diamonds on their 1971 ring. Shocker...

The diamonds were put there to distract onlookers. They put a hidden compartment inside the ring to store cocaine. John Madden said on MNF a few years back, "some people call it the Yay Area".

An 49ers All-Pro told me that during the Super Bowl XXIX postgame party for their win versus the Chargers, Eddie DeBartolo, Jr. took out a big fat pile of coke and put it on a table for everybody to partake in.

That Ravens ring is ugly. I find it funny when you put the cursor over the Washington Redskins ring from 1991 it shows Mark Schlereth in a Broncos uniform. And William Perry, a size 25!

Yeah, when I was getting my HS class ring back in the day, the place had a Fridge replica.

You could probably fit one of those old plastic camera film canisters in it.

Objectively, I think the Steeler rings are the best looking.

It's weird the Gaytriots actually put a video camera on that first ring of theirs.

Agree

The Steeler rings look classy. The next best rings are the Patriots.

I like the Colt's 2006 ring. Good contrast between the platinum and the blue stone they used. Steeler's 2000's rings are pretty awesome too.

LOVE the Colts 2006 ring. Because of the blue, it just looks sweet.

Oh, and edit: The reason this thread was started in the first place was retarded.

I think its the Raven's eye. Its off a bit, and too perfectly circular. The Crest with the B on it would have been a better choice.

Their ring from last year is probably one of my favorites. Simple, yet full of meaning.
