Default Senior Bowl Game Thread

I think Dexter McCluster wins the award for MVP of the game.

Are they ever going to stop slobbering over Tim Tebow?

A holding penalty on Mike Iupati negates a TD pass for the North by Tony Pike.

I like the two DT's for the south. Dan Williams and Mount Cody are playing very well so far. I just wish they would have finished the drive, but they are two really good run stuffers that we so desperately need. Man this draft is deep in the defense!

Mayock said the kid grabs more than pushes. That's the last thing we need on this O-line.

Yup, in this game he has been grapping like a blind man at a strip club.

They haven't slobbered over him. They gave him credit for one good pass, but also called out his delivery and wind-up.

I just don't see an NFL QB in Tebow.

What's Gilyard of Cincinnati rated?

That guy was all over the highlights for Bearcats games.

With some wieght/strentgh gain and a few years to learn Tony Pike could be a solid starter.

I like him on passes to the inside but the ball gets away from him from time to time, especially on passes to the sideline it seems. He does have pretty good mechanics though.

You must not have watched the pregame show. I was beginning to think Tebow was the only player there. Anyway, I really like Dan Williams. He eats up the double team and still gets to the runner. Iupati now at LG. Looks much more natural over there.

I missed the pre-game chatter.

Iupati is still going to hold and being a Rookie will mean more flags. Ref won't give him slack like an NFL vet.

I'm hoping OL is filled via Free Agent.

I posted before in one game I saw in regular season of Iupati, that he doesn't move his feet enough. He needs some coaching, but I see him as Leonard Davis type of guard.

I've seen him play live @ Natti and stood beside him. He's listed at 6-0, but dude isn't 6'-1". He's light also, I'd guess around 5-11 and 175ish.

He seem more like a Eddie Royal type player.

We will need a bigger target.

John Jerry of the South is Peria Jerry's brother.

Jesus, I wonder how many turkeys that family goes through at Thanksgiving.

LeGarrette Blount, RB, Oregon with the TD run.

He is going to be a bruiser in the NFL....he just needs to stay out of trouble.

Iupati has the size, the ability and the aggression, and he plays with passion. I think a good coach can polish him up into a great LG.

It's cool that Pike is wearing the Black UC helmet and Gilyard is wearing the white.
