You know what that is? A problem that never existed.

Its too small to be:
A decent family video viewer (for example a TV)
A decent music player (like a stereo)
A proper email client (like a laptop or PC)

Its too big to be:

A portable music player
A portable video player
A portable email client

Hell, a portable anything.

So what exactly are people going to do with it? Buy it and keep it at home?

I'm following the live blog at Gizmodo.....Not a fan boy by any means (don't have an iphone/touch or Mac.

It's interesting but I agree...Don't see a real need. Wonder what the price point will be?

The Microsoft Courier (if real)...looks far more interesting & useful to me.

Dual screen, fold-able to protect the screens, touch AND stylus input (handwriting recognition), could even use it in landscape to function as a netbook with a touch screen keyboard on the bottom half with the upper half serving as a traditional laptop screen.

eReader, journal, day planner, media, gaming, netbook all in one.

iPad? Meh.

Would make an awesome multimedia\jukebox\htpc\Lutron remote.

I use an iTouch right now as a remote for my squeezebox (Ipeng). It rocks.

This would be even better. You could have a complete media skin for it.

I have had my Ipod touch for nearly a year. It was hard to justify spending $300. Why would people spend $700 for a Kindle with apps?
