Default Will the REAL QBs please stand UP!

When I saw this hit:

and this afterward:

All I could think of was Tom "panty-waste" Brady and that infamous fit he threw in the Baltimore game this season ...
YES Tom - a player did dive at your legs.
NO Tom - he didn't actually "hit" you, he "brushed" you.
YES Tom - the respective player WAS forced to the ground by one of YOUR linemen.
NO Tom - it's not worth a penalty.
YES Tom - if you wanna cry about it, the Ref WILL throw a flag for you.
NO Tom - you don't need to CELEBRATE the flag like it was a TD pass, but it's nice that you did!

Congrats to Brett Favre on a GREAT season in 09, and for having the GUTS to get back up and continue to play the game, you showed that you really ARE a relic of a bygone era, the last of a dying breed. Condolences on the result of the game though.
I hope that the Supermodel's Trophy Husband was watching, and I hope he felt ashamed of his lack of GUTS!
Good Luck Favre, hope you do well next year - in football or out!
Tom, good luck growing a pair for next season!

I disliked Favre for all his in and out of retirement BS but after this season and especially after that game..he is one of my favorite players of all time! What a warrior and a leader of that team..other than the boneheaded INT he threw i don't think he could have done much more to help them win yesterday! That was one of the guttiest performances i've ever seen! I thought for sure when he took that hit that there was no way he was coming back into the game. Just wrapped it up and kept on going! It will be unfortunate if that INT was his last pass we'll ever see from Favre. Good luck and god bless him in whatever he does!!

I gained a little more respect for Favre with the way that he played through his injury. I honestly thought he was finished for the day. Now, he needs to retire, so that he can finally take his place in Canton...

If you crop that first image just right, it looks like they're dancing.

But the lace pant award goes to Peyton Manning, who drops like he's shot whenever someone gets within five yards of him! It's hilarious.

As everyone knows, I detest Favre. I did gain some respect for the player yesterday in his performance. No, I don't believe he was injured as much as he let on when it happened but his body had to be reacting to all those sacks and he kept getting up. While I don't believe he was the sole reason the Vikes got as far as they did this year, I don't believe they would have gotten that far without him, with what they had.

Might I add, I absolutely hated Rodney Harrison when he was playing but since he's been on TV I love his sometimes brutal honesty. No doubt Brady, grow some. I always remember Brady's temper tantrum against Lynch in the playoff game as if he wasn't suppose to be touched. Exchange some of that ego for some GUTS.

It's like you guys have never watched Favre play before. This is how he's played his whole career. I'll miss him as much as I've ever missed a player that doesn't play for my team.

That's the thing. We've all grown tired of the circus around him, but you can't argue that he makes the game more interesting.

I never understood why so many here hated Favre on this site. He's always been a tough player. But many here hated on Warner here as well. I wonder if this will change when both are in the Hall.

I think his undeniable similarities to Elway get to a lot of Broncos fans.
