Default Doom to be on Fox radio @ 5pm

Myers/Hartman

Will have doom on to talk about the Nolan move and his great year in Denver with sacks and switch to 3-4 OLB.

Hmmm...I wonder if the change in DC will have any affect on keeping him. He was having a great year under Nolan's system...

In 2010, Dumervil will be playing for his 8th defensive coordinator in 8 years, going back to his Louisville days.

Doom just goes to show you that scheme matters so much less than talent. Schemes change but Doom just keeps bringing the DOOOOOOOOOM

Doom might be playing for a new team next year.

Everything should be in question if McD is leading us.

Give it a break dude. You're down right ridiculous with statements like that. It comes across that in your mind for some reason it is logical that McDaniels would trade him away for a bag of frozen vegetables.

Jeez, you're like a little kid.

bpc: This is mine, and this is mine, and this is mine!
McD/Bowlen: We're not gonna take away all your toys.
bpc: No! It's mine!
McD/Bowlen: You can't have all your toys, big boys have to share.
bpc: No! It's mine!

You really remind me of a sniveling little crybaby kid.

RECAP

Was shocked by Nolan leaving, had a blast playing for Nolan and wishes him the best.

Doom-"I like coach McDaniels" "Everyone is supporting coach and backing what he's trying to instill here"

Change happens in this bussiness.

Felt that the team was inconsistant at times and it caused the slide.

He's used to having new DC's every year. In college (4 years at Louisville) he had 4 different DC's. Feels it makes him concentrate of his game and shows he's coach-able.

He's up for the Vizio top value performer. An award for the players making the least, yet performing on the field.

Doom does say "It's not all about the money, I love playing the game of football, but I am underpaid and want to get paid"

Also talked about Haiti

This thread is proof that there is so much blind hate from whiney pouty drama queens for mcdainels.

If doom would have said even the slightess negative comment about McD about twenty different douche bags would of been having me read page 16 of this thread.

Instead Doom says he believes in Mcdaniels and what hes doing here and we have what 15 respones total?

The most valuable player on the defense. . . .backing the coach, thats all i need to know

AFL is good if you're looking for a bubble screen/short passing game. I wouldn't suggest it though unless you're looking for two way players.

Good recap, thanks!

It's nice to hear that one of our best defensive players is supporting what our coach has been trying to assemble. That's my personal feeling on the majority of the team...from all of the interviews I've heard this year, it appears that the guys in the locker room like the direction we're going.

Pay that man, please!

Thanks for the recap. Just reading that recap, he comes through like a sincere individual. I love his attitude that he can work with any DC so long as he's concentrating on his own game. It sounds like he would be happy to stay in Denver, so long as Denver pays him in the neighborhood of what a stud DE commands.

I can't help but get excited for guys like Elvis when I look at their situations. Here you have a guy who has worked all his life for this negotiation - the one that sets him up for life if he plays his cards right. And he's done it right every step of the way. He just went out there, and got to business.

I really hope that McDaniels and the Broncos will sign this guy quickly and make sure that Elvis remains a Bronco for some time to come, because this guy is the absolute right guy to build a defense around. This guy has all the early makings of one of those all time great Broncos that everyone loves for years down the road in the mold of Tombstone Rich Jackson.

Let's get it done Broncos!

Sadly if TSI's other thread is true McD wants to blitz less and focus on disguising the secondary's scheme to throw off the QB. TSI found an article stating this.

When I say no below it also means limited:
This means no more A gap blitzes from Davis, no corner blitzing from anyone, no outside LB double blitz to over load the line and give Doom a chance to become the NFL sack leader 2 years in a row.

I see more of the 10 yard off the LOS for CB's and no allowing players to get beat deep in secondary, everything kept in front of them.

I really like the Aggressive calls early in the year, I thought teams figured them out on tape and adjusted more than we moved away from it beacuse our HC wanted it that way.

Hope I a wrong, I can't sleep and probablly shouldn't be online typing...
