Wow, talk about tragedy -- Jay Cutler has definitely seen his share. This is a pretty amazing string of misfortunes:

2004: Vanderbilt RB Kwane Doster is shot and killed on December 26th. QB of the team is Jay Cutler.

2007: Broncos CB Darrent Williams is shot and killed on January 1st. QB of the team is Jay Cutler.

2007: Broncos RB Damien Nash dies from heart failure on February 23rd. QB of the team is Jay Cutler.

2010: Bears DE Gaines Adams dies from heart failure on January 17th. QB of the team is Jay Cutler.

No, not at all -- as soon as I heard about Adam's death, I remembered the news articles from 2007 that mentioned how unusual it was that Cutler had been through this 3 times (when Nash died). To have it happen a 4th time is a horrible, horrible coincidence.

I sympathise with Jay and his teams, I really do.... it's a lot for a young man to handle once, not to mention 4 times.
