It is not like LT helped in any way shape or form with his 12 carries for 24 yards.

One of my friends knows him indirectly. Says he's a really good guy. Tough off-season ahead for that dude.

They'll forget all of the games he won and just remember this.

To be honest I don't think it will be that tough for him.

Yeah it sucks right now, but he's too good of a kicker to be released or anything.

And besides, now the bandwagoning SoCal fans can focus exclusively on the Lakers.

I'm hoping they release him. I'm BEGGING for it.

They'd be a much worse team without him.

He'll probably cry all the way to the bank. If he invested wisely, he's fine.

I root against all kickers that don't play on the Broncos.

I wish more kickers and punters would get their leg snapped into two while on the gridiron. Soccer playing fairies have no place in the NFL.

Man, I wish I was able to see that game, today. Instead, I had to go to work on a Sunday to finish a brief. I suspect this choke will be on NFLN replay, though.

I'm going to give my Charger friend at work so much **** about this.

If I ran into Nate Kaeding in an alley, I would grab him by the neck and punch him 100 times in the face. I would just want to ruin something that looks so innocent.

Dude blew the playoff game against the Jets a few years back, and now he screwed them again, against the Jets again. Well, it wasn't all his fault, but those are kicks he has to make to keep them in the game.

Tough life being an NFL Kicker. If you miss you're the goat and you only have one job to do, it can't really be that damn hard... If you make the kicks, well you're just a kicker and not a "real" football player.

Seems like there have been a lot of missed FGs this playoff season. More than usual, or at least it seems.

To be fair, Antonio Gates was dropping passes all day long. Thing is, when he messes up a play the fans just swear a couple times and then 2nd or 3rd down starts up. Miss FGs and it really stands out as a crucial play.

Nothing, though, will ever top the 94 Colts divisional playoff upset of the Chiefs. KC kicker Lin Elliott missed from 35, 39, and 42 in a 10-7 loss.

Interesting thing about that picture, add 9 points to the Chargers' score and they're still losing. It wasn't Nate's fault.

Who needs a rock? There's plenty of room under Philip Rivers' ego.

At least it was a home game and he doesnt have to worry about the flight home. Of course if there was a flight he'd miss that too.

Kickers are a strange bunch. They can be the consistent all year (like Kaeding was) and then suddenly lose it all.

Nate isn't my favorite player at the moment but hopefully he bounces back from this.
