Your right. Democrats can still ram the Healthcare bill through and buy off more votes if need be.

Hopefully the Dems will have learned lessons from the Repub, that if you want your agenda passed you gotta cramm down the oppositions deep throat.

Republicans sense Reagan have used Reconcilication to cramm legislation and bills down America's throat. Democrats are going to need to return the favor. If Reconciliation was good enough for Reagan and the Bush's...then it will need to be good enough for the Democrats.

Afterall, Republicans only understand Brute Force!

Game Change. Wow. This was like Alabama breaking Colt McCoy's shoulder in the first five minutes of the game. It means "game over" before the first quarter is over.

But before Republicans get too full of themselves, almost every political upset since Obama came to the White House has been anti-Democrat moreso than pro-Republican. The GOP is going to need to find a voice sometime in the next six months. The upsets have happened *in spite* of GOP leadership, not because of it. And the force moving this is the Tea Party crowd, which is not the same as the Republican Party. There are a lot of independents and even some Democrats who are sick of what they are seeing from Washington and want to kick out all the elitists and socialists - of both parties.

She ran a pretty crappy campaign, from the sounds of it.

Plus, as I said earlier, when the economy is in the crapper (thanks Bush!) people usually take it out on the party in power.

At any rate, the Dems still have other options when it comes to getting the health bill passed, etc., and I'm sure everyone expected them to lose some seats in 2010 (just like every other majority party since the 30s or something like that.)

And any option they choose is going to further alienate everyone except socialists and the unions. Not to mention, anyone who *now* votes for ObamaCare is going to have to face the voters and explain this unconstitutional debacle to their voters.

Actually, the Republicans gained seats while in power in 2002. You can look it up.

She got her ass handed to her in a democrat state it had nothing to do with her campaign it had alot to do with obama and his agenda and the people there sent him a message loud and clear but you keep making excuses cause you will see alot more of this type of beatings.

THe fact remains that there hasnt been a real republican voice and yet conservatives are winning some key points and/or seats in local and national levels. Republican Party needs to get back to being conservative and meaning it. Seems they do their best when they realize they F'd up and are becoming "conservative" again. All along, most individuals never changed their status.

Gotta laugh at the righties referring to the "crappy health care bill."

What are you talking about? It's exactly the bill the republi-cons wanted.

Just more evidence that this isn't so much about health care as the GOP's need to make sure Obama fails (and is perceived as a failure) in everything he tries to do.

oh, I bumped some beauties for ya LABS. Seems you are whistling a different tune this time. All you want is this bribed filled HC bill that the majority of the country doesnt want. Your arrogance shined well a year ago.

Ironic, indeed, because the bill went through a Democrat-dominated House and a Democrat-dominated Senate. It's Romney's tomfoolery that got it rolling but it was Democrats who ushered it through every step.

They see the national version as the same blueprint, only worse. You can call the people of Massachusetts liberal, but they're not generally idiots.
