Dexter McCluster?

He's pretty small....end of the 2nd round would be the highest....probably a 3rd round pick.

A lot depends on all the pre-draft workouts and the combine.

I'm guessing third. Maybe fourth. I doubt he will be seen as an every down kind of player. He doesn't have the beef of a Ray Rice. He'll be seen as more of a specialist.

He is really small - like 170 - playing running back. I see him as a return specialist and third-down back. I really like him, though. Great speed, quicks and toughness. I think the size drops him to round 4 or beyond. He will be a steal for someone!

McCluster gives it his all every game and is said to be an extremely coachable player who would assume any role given to him in the NFL. Yes, he'll be a Sproles type player in the NFL -- but can be used in many ways, regardless of his size. He might run as low as 4.3 -- he is exceptionally quick, with amazing speed. The second round is a realistic possibility if he performs well through April.

If we don't use picks on QB OL or DL I hope we go speed at WR and RB I'm tired of being slow on offense.

Very impressive kid but I worry that the first time he coughs up the ball in a critical situation, he's going to get a nickname that will be hard to live down.

Its way too early in the process to give round grades on anyone outside the top 15 prospects. Even then, with all the underclassmen coming out I am really wary. I am way behind on my film, but there are a ton of players like McCluster who have a huge range on where they might be picked in this draft. In short, it is way too early to tell.

I went to school with him and can verify that this is all true. He's really a good kid and is the type of person I'd want to have on the Bronco's roster.
