Well, just one look at that vid will tell you it's far from only that. He was the greatest to me..............and he still is. I love how the vid starts out modestly and then just gets better and better.

Thanks for posting indeed. Looks as if I'm going to Canton if they let him in.

For sure, but I know you love when players did that.

Great video - thanks for posting it. Not only was Floyd a great runner, that video reminded me of what a good pass receiver and punt returner he was, too.

A few months ago I posted "the day floyd little was fired" video on my blog - here's a link to that for those who missed it:

Default Thanks!

Hey everyone,

I'm glad you liked the video! Most of the credit goes to NFL Films, I just added some transitions, text, and music. I created the video as part of the work the "MHR Broncos Hall of Fame Committee" is doing over on MileHighReport. We're trying to get Floyd (and other Broncos into the HoF) and keep people up to date on what's happening and to keep them informed on the HoF process.

If you're interested in downloading the video, go to the Vimeo page, create a logon, and you can find a download link in the bottom right corner of the page: http://www.vimeo.com/8647946

To learn more about what we're doing and what we've done for Floyd, check out these articles from MHR. We like to think we've made a small difference.

I highly recommend reading those (plus the links we provided in those), but I'm a bit biased since I wrote them

Claude Humphrey's snub last year proves that Little can use all the help he can get to inform voters of his accolades.

Great work, stud bucket.

Awesome film. I like the way you added stats from the "44 Reasons to elect Floyd Little to the Pro Football Hall of Fame" document and used quotes from "44 Hall of Famers on 44 Floyd Little."

Please make sure you send a copy of this to Jeff Legwold!!!!!

I have many of these runs on video, but there were a lot I had never seen.

Great work!

Thanks.

We've made efforts to make sure that every single voter gets the link to the video. Some guys are just pretty much "off the map" like John Clayton, but if I can tweet or email them, they should see it. Plus Dave Goldberg and maybe Legwold will share my video with other voters. Apparently Legwold has a DVD of stuff from Broncos though, so he's seen much of this. Not sure if he shares it out with others.

I forwarded the video to Legwold. But, you're right, he has a lot of video on Floyd. I think he will do a Superb job!

What do you mean Clayton is off the map?

I know for a fact that Floyd was on the same flight as Clayton recently and the 2 chatted . . .

The key when it comes to Little is don't over do selling him at this point. Legwold is very well respected and from everything I've learned, he is putting together a tremendous presentation. That helps a lot. If you send any information to these voters, just say something like "Enclosed is some more information about Floyd Little's career that I hope is helpful." Something like that . . . No need to throw a bunch of stats at them. They will get the full presentation from Legwold. PLEASE BE VERY RESPECTFUL!

Clayton is off the map because he cannot be reached via Twitter and is one of the handful of voters that does not have an email we can find. For the whole 10 months we've been doing this, we've never been able to contact him. We've tried, but we just can't get his contact info.

However, Dave Goldberg, Bernie Miklasz, Bob Gretz, Howard Balzer, Rick Gosselin, and several others have been very gracious and helpful to us.

All of our work is already done. If you check out the 3 articles I linked to (and all the articles those link to), you'll see our strategy over the entire period, how we stressed respect and correct grammar and we only had 10 people email the voters once the Seniors Committee finalists were announced in August, and each of them only emailed 6-7 voters.

If you wish to see samples of the emails I sent out, anyone else on the MHR HoF Committee sent out, or any of our 10 volunteers, I can post them here, but several examples are linked in the articles above.

We bombarded the voters early on (before Floyd was nominated) but haven't done anything like that since then. We don't want to ruin any chances Floyd would have.

After all the time and effort we spent on this, we hope that we can make a small difference in Floyd's chances, and we certainly don't think our efforts hurt in getting him nominated. Floyd is so deserving, and it would be such a wonderful thing for him to make it.

If you guys want to track this thing from the beginning, check out the MHR links I posted above, but these are the 3 posts that started it all:
http://www.milehighreport.com/2009/1...-the-radio-sta
http://www.milehighreport.com/2009/2...cos-a-hof-trav
http://www.milehighreport.com/2009/2...sty-in-numbers

After that, the committee was founded (you can see the beginnings in the comments). I also have posted sparingly at Broncosforums and the 'Freak for years, so I had a limited amount of rep there and also posted some threads asking for help:
http://www.broncosforums.com/forums/...ad.php?t=45171 (6 pages)
http://broncosfreaks.com/forums/showthread.php?t=23097 (1 page)

I also did an interview with BroncoMadness: http://broncomadness.com/2009/08/11/...tle-to-canton/

Then you guys, Broncotalk, and other blogs and forums picked up the video and got excited:
http://forums.denverbroncos.com/showthread.php?t=161014

Going through all of those will pretty much show you the timeline of everything. I'm just glad the response has been so enthusiastic.

Once again, great work!

It's great to know there are fans like you who have banded together to help get Floyd in his rightful place -- Canton!

I sent a copy of Floyd's book to Clayton with a handwritten note similar to what I mentioned before . . . I think the book, plus the friendly conversation Floyd had with him on the plane, and Legwold's presentation should convince him that Floyd is deserving. Plus, they both live in Seattle!

Wow, that's awesome, that's a good idea; I sure hope that works out. I'm glad you were doing stuff to help out as well.

I also live in Seattle, but Floyd's dealership had closed before I moved out here, so I never got a chance to swing by, unfortunately.

I'm pretty sure you'd have to get a custom throwback jersey, which may cost a pretty penny. Also, if he does get in, I'm sure the NFL will make his jersey available for a limited amount of time.

I'll let you know if I ever find anything, after quick search, I couldn't.

I've never seen a Floyd Little Jersey with the original burnt orange like he wore, now the throwbacks are a much lighter orange. The Broncos jersey during his time was a darker redder tint. I have a couple Floyd Little jerseys but nothing like the original . . .
