Me?
Default PFT: Cable to fired.

---
Citing unnamed "people up and down the organizational chart," the San Francisco Chronicle is reporting that Oakland Raiders owner Al Davis will meet with coach Tom Cable today "to discuss all the reasons he'll get fired."

According to the Chronicle, the only question is whether Cable will be fired for cause.

Last week it was reported that Davis was likely to fire Cable. For his part, however, Cable described himself as "pretty sure" he'd return as the Raiders' coach for the 2010 season.

The truth is, no one knows what Davis will do. But if Cable is pretty sure he's going to remain the Raiders' coach, he's the only one.
----

I actually think Cable is a good thing for Oakland; so his removal is a good thing for the Broncos in my mind.

At some point in time, a troupe of carnies have got to end up with that job as a committee.

Chucky has never really said anything bad about Al Davis or Oakland, it's possible he returns. But I'm guessing he'll take a shot at Fassel.

The more that organization has turnover and instability, the closer to the NFL cellar they'll stay. Good stuff!

Here is 1 vote for Tom Cable to be hired as the O-line coach if Dennison takes the Texans job. He would be a great hire and should bring a lot to help our power run game.

You know that idea's not half bad. He'd especially get our big uglies fired up to play the Raiders He just seems like such a repugnant person though, I can't stand the sight of him. But maybe that works if you're in the O line business.

He was changing the way of thinking down there. Making players responsible for their actions i.e taking the multi milliodollar man Jamarcus and making him 3rd string. I hate the Raiders, but liked Tom Cable. They were in a lot of games this year, and I believe that to be directly connected to his philosophy.

I'd take him in as an assistant of some sort. Maybe just to kick the **** out of B-Marsh?

I wouldn't mind seeing Cable as oline coach for the Broncos. He knows about living in the area after being an assistant for the CU Buffs in the late 90's.

This makes Oakland weaker. Doubt that Chuckie will go back there - he's enjoying his Monday night football gig.

Chucky didn't have to say anything bad about Al. And I'm sure Al said more bad about him. Besides he is not coaching this next year and possibly not till he turns 50 which is a few years down the road.
