Default Democrat: Obama Making a Mistake Going for Healthcare Instead of Fixing Economy

Nelson must be upset that Obama has cost him his seat.

“I think it was a mistake to take health care on as opposed to continuing to spend the time on the economy,” he said.

Well GW Bush had 8 years to destroy the economy while making absolutely no effort to pursue healthcare Reform.

So whats your point Mr. conservative Republican?

By the way, Nelson is a corporate conservative Democrat punk who needs to voted out of the party even if it means a Repub thug is put in his place. Hopefully the voters in Neb. would vote in a Progressive Dem. to replace the medical corporate whore known as Nelson. Screw him!

Touche'! These conservatives are pure hypocrites. The last fiscal conservative Republican President was Ike Eisenhower and he believed in social security and unions! Go figure. 20 years of Ray-Gun, Bush I and II has destroyed this country, and these conservatives think America wants these miserable incompetent Government hating bastards back in power anytime soon! Lets hope not.

Conservatives would rather the people govern themselves.

When your idiot brigade is in control, they take a vacation after terrorist attacks. Heck...how many vacations did Obama take last year? National Park trip, Hawaii, Camp David, Martha's Vineyard...is that it?

These goofs are a joke.

Nelson doesn't get it. Obama WANTS to kill the economy. Every economic move he has made has been to strangle capitalism becuase Obama is a communist. But, you see, there's a method to their madness.

Step one: Pass universal health care.
Step two: Make all illegals U.S. citizens.
Step three: Pass "card check".
Step four: Pass universal voter registration.
Step five: Use ACORN and other liberal vote fraud groups to overcount the census so the Dems can set up for themselves permanency status as the ruling party.
Step six: Declare the U.S. Dollar insolvent and the country bankrupt. Issue a new currency that is only available to those who take loyalty oaths to the party.
Step seven: Finish converting the government to Communism through a new constitution that gives the government unchecked power.

The old Communists went in with guns and missiles and took over by force. The Democrat Communists plan to take over without a shot being fired and Americans will only wake up to it after it is too late to do anything about it.

That's their master plan folks. Clear as the nose on your face. This is what all the libs at Harvard and Yale have been planning for decades.

Only they are facing more resistance than they expected and have to get steps 1-4 done before the 2010 elections or the plan may get stopped in its tracks.

Saving jobs and rebuilding the economy are not part of their plan, Sen. Nelson. Not until they have absolute power.

None what-so-ever.

Just think of those folks who have been laid off in this crappy economy. Sure they get an unemployment check, but what's hilarious, is that letter informing them that they can continue their health coverage by signing up with the Cobra plan. Have you ever seen the costs of this plan and then think about keeping coverage while unemployed? ****ing assinine!

The Economy got destroyed long before that going back to Nixon and LBJ. The straw that broke the Camels back was when Clinton signed the GLB and the 106th Congress sent it to him to sign.

My biggest issue with Republicans is that some will try to tell you how to live your life in your bedroom. My biggest complaint with Democrats is they'll try to control every other facet of your life. ****'em both.

The only way to fix the economy is to end the wars -- and deconstruct the War Machine.

It ain't gonna happen -- any time soon.

But I agree -- we've been heading into this mess for 40+ years -- since about 1964.

It did not start yesterday.

It has continued despite the present president's affiliation -- both parties have contributed.

It won't be fixed by either party.

Bush had a recession only at the very end. Had economy been bad when he went for re-election he would not have won. If Obama can't turn it around (and there is still tons of time) then he will be in trouble in 3 yrs.

The economy under Bush wasn't bad for 8 yrs, and really nothing he did has caused the dip, Obama either. The economies run in cycles and presidents either get lucky or unlucky IMO.

The only mistakes they can really make come in trying to fix things and help things they can't control. IMO that is what Obama is doing too much of with the stimulus, and now a job bill which is really just stimulus part 2 with another name.

I mean the stimulus was also a jobs bill right? Of course it didn't work yet but whatever.

A superpower in debt to its' eyebrows. Yep, that's it. We're a superpower who can't even afford to take care of it's own citizens, but is willing to waste gazillions to fight the good fight.

Skillet has a standing president ever not run the 2nd term? Or does the incumbent party always throw out the same nominee? Has a President ever said I don't want 2 terms?

He says we destroyed our country over 40 yrs. I am arguing for doing that we are still pretty well off. Isn't it weird that even though for 40 yrs we have been destroying our economy that we have even done this well?

By the way we do owe lots of money, good thing its in dollars and we print those. Only way for countries to get there money is to make sure America stays a superpower. Really its a great set up we have.
