Default Last season Mock Draft

The Broncos trade down the 8 pick with New England for the 24 plus 48 and a 5 rounder.Patients trade up for Morgan de from Georgia Tech.

The Broncons also trade Marcus Thomas plus 2011 second rounder to Detroit for their 3 and 5 round picks.

The Broncos sign Ellis Hobbs , Ryan Pickett, and Brandon Chiller as free agents. The Patriot way is to sign reasonable priced free agents and trade back in draft.

24. Goldern Tate, Tate reminds me of Steve Smith and he Knows McDaniels
system comming from a Charlie Weiss coached team.

2a Cameron Heyward, Hayward has all the Measurements to be a dominating 3-4 defensive end. He is 6-6 weighing 290 with 4.8 speed.

2b Mike Johnson , maybe best pass blocking guard in draft plus is good run blocker with Alabama running for 250 yards at florida.

3a Maurice Poucey , the Broncos need a center of the future. Poucey is a great run blocker with florida running backs averaging 8 yards a carry and has experience in shotgun in Florida spread offensive.

3b Kyle Wilson, The Broncos could use another corner . Wilson is 5-11 at 185 pounds with 4.45 speed.

4. Dan Lefevour, All time leader in touchdowns plus has good accuracy and stong arm on passes 20 yards . Needs to work on deep throws but has stonger arm the Orton. Good red zone Qb with 89% scoring touchdowns. Completed 70 % of passes and has great mobility.

5a Austen Lane . sleeper pick from Murray state that has had double digit
stacks the last 3 years.

5b. Jamar Chaney, thumper for a middle linebacher at 6-1 and 245 pounds and runs a 4.6.

6. Stafon Johnson, good running back comming off injury.

7. Matt Dodge , rated the top punter.

Absolutely terrible trades for Denver

16 spots in this draft for a mid-2nd and a late 5th? Denver could trade down half that far and get a better return.

In this scenario, is Marshall gone? Aside from that, you also have Royal on the roster who caught 91 passes in 08 and isnt really being fully utilized this year. How then does it make sense to trade down while targeting a WR in the first? Sorry, but this is all kinds of bad. I like Tate but I dont like this proposition.

2a Cameron Heyward, Hayward has all the Measurements to be a dominating 3-4 defensive end. He is 6-6 weighing 290 with 4.8 speed.

Measurables are great but can he play? Is he really better than Marcus Thomas? What would be the purpose of trading Thomas if not?

2b Mike Johnson , maybe best pass blocking guard in draft plus is good run blocker with Alabama running for 250 yards at florida.

It wasnt at Florida. Also, this is a solid pick but you also have Asomogha. And if youre drafting a center of the future and ODowd, Pouncey, and Wisnewski are in this draft, you may need to take them here. From what Ive read, there is a bigger drop off between the top tier centers and the rest than there is between the guards. Also, if they like Olsen, he might be ready.

3a Maurice Poucey , the Broncos need a center of the future. Poucey is a great run blocker with florida running backs averaging 8 yards a carry and has experience in shotgun in Florida spread offensive.

Florida running backs have had a lot of success on the option play this year. Even still, Pouncey, a junior, is a good center prospect but so too are ODowd and Wisnewski. If 2 of those three dont enter the draft this year, it might make more sense to sign a stop gap like Mawae and take a center next year.

3b Kyle Wilson, The Broncos could use another corner . Wilson is 5-11 at 185 pounds with 4.45 speed.

Not great but not horrible. Although, it seems CBs are more abundant in FA than other positions.

From what Ive read and seen, this guy reminds me of Plummer, which doesnt really seem like the ideal fit. Tim Hiller seems to make more sense.

5a Austen Lane . sleeper pick from Murray state that has had double digit
stacks the last 3 years.

OK.

5b. Jamar Chaney, thumper for a middle linebacher at 6-1 and 245 pounds and runs a 4.6.

I like Chaney ok but ILB is a better pick in the 1st than WR. I wouldnt mind Chaney, especially if he is available there.

6. Stafon Johnson, good running back comming off injury.

No way.

7. Matt Dodge , rated the top punter.
In bold. Also, Adalius Thomas wasnt exactly reasonably priced. NE changed their MO a few years ago.

This would be what i would do as of right now. But, things will most certainly change as we get closer to draftime.

Denver trades down with Baltimore for their 1st, 2nd, and 5th.

(Round 1)- Terrence Cody NT Alabama
(Round 2)- George Selvie LB South Florida
(Round 2)- Noel Devine, RB/ST West Virginia
(Round 3)- Zac Robinson, QB Oklahoma State
(Round 4)- Eric Olsen, C Notre Dame
(Round 5)- Myron Rolle, SS, Florida State
(Round 5)- Jordan Shipley, WR Texas
(Round 6)- Matt Dodge, P East Carolina
(Round 7)- Brandon James, RB/ST Florida
